I use this to cover gray and brighten up my otherwise mousy brown hair (I use a mixture of the red and the dark reddish blond or the red and the light brown) and its is always just lovely, leaves my hair feeling very well conditioned! No harsh chemicals - smells wonderful - I just swirl one of the colors across my palm then do the same with the next and gently smoosh my hands together a little bit to gently marble the two and apply it thickly to the hair, leave on for 1 hour - this method gives a more natural look than using a single color all over (no ones hair has exactly the same color on every strand!) Overall this is a great product and you can get it for under 10$ at online outlets like vitacost.com :)

If you to light yor hair forget this product. It is more a treatment iluminate a original color givin a red glow or gold. I use since... Always is a great natural product

I'm willing to try this product again, but perhaps in a lighter shade. I tried out the "Copper" on my already dark brown hair, it wasn't as light as I hoped, but I did see a difference (tho not drastic). My hair felt great, no more or less moisturized, no unpleasant smell, and the bottle was just the right size. Also, this was already mixed henna, so the application was easy, just parted my curly hair in a few sections and gently rubbed/stroked thru.
