    My hair is a mixture of medium/coarse texture, with high porosity, normal elasticity, and high density (very thick). This shampoo left my hair feeling stripped and squeaky. In Curlmart, it says the shampoo is sulfate-free, but I found sodium C14-16 olefin sulfate in the ingredient list, which from what I've read is a surfactant curlies should avoid in shampoo. If you use the Max Green Alchemy Scalp Rescue conditioner, which is very moisturizing, it does seem to balance out the effect of the shampoo, but I'd rather have a gentler shampoo for my hair, even though I really like all the natural ingredients in the product.

    Good stuff. I have periodic bouts of dry, itchy scalp. The mainstream shampoos smell like the floor of a mechanic's - fumes and oil, toxic and nauseating. Not this shampoo - it has a great scent that doesn't linger, and it doesn't strip your hair (you know what I mean). It smells like the best massage you've ever had. Now, I do follow with the conditioner, and they're a great team. Tracy and Hepburn on your head!

    Great shampoo. Leaves your hair clean a bit tangly but the conditioner makes up.

    This is a great shampoo. If I feel like I need to clarify, I can almost always get away with using this. It is much gentler on my hair than a clarifying shampoo and it almost always gives me the same results. A word of warning though, it is quite heavily fragranced (essential oils). I don't find it lingers though.

    I like this Shampoo. I'm trying to decide between this one and MT's Clarifying Shampoo. They both leave my hair feeling clean. My hair also looks full without frizz. The only reason I'm giving it a 3 is because I have to put conditioner on for my fingers to be able to run through my hair.
