The videos on the Hair Rules website sold me, but the products didn't deliver as much as I'd hoped. This was okay, not great. I needed a lot and I still had a layer of frizz when it dried. What really frustrated me is that the Hair Rules video for wavies says "use as much wavy mousse as you want, it contains no silicones so it won't weigh your hair down." Yet when the product arrived, the ingredient list showed silicones. I was pretty upset about the deception.

No hold, no definition, just poofball. My hair wasn't sticky like some mousses stay. No curl boost from the honey, like I'd hoped.

I bought this product after having a history of not liking mousses because they make my hair tangled and sticky. I wanted a lighter product that provided light hold. I got it. The consistency of this product is more foamy than moussey, which I liked. It is easy to distribute, and has a light fruity scent. It makes my waves soft and full and long, with no crunch, and gives lots of shine. That being said, this product does not give a ton of definition and hold, which in my case is what I wanted (sometimes I just like light product days.) I like this product, it will last me a long time since I only use it once a week or so. As a daily product I wouldn't buy again because it's too expensive, but for what I want it to do, it works perfectly.

This expensive product comes out of the bottle more watery and sticky than mousse-like. It did nothing for my 2b/c wavy hair. It certainly didn't look like aything as dramatically gorgeous as ths pictures in the ads. I wouldn't get it again.

This works really well in my daughter's 3a hair. Great curl formation! It doesn't have enough hold for my 3b curls.
