I have not found this product to give definition, hold, or shine to my 2b-2c shoulder length hair. I definately do not like the fragrance. To me, it is not a light lemony scent but reminds me of a wet, dirty dog's hair and this smell lingers until I shampoo it out. For me, it is too costly and ineffective in addition to offensively smelly. y hubby also dos not like the scent and can smell it beyond the day of application. I like/love the other HR products I have tried, but not this one.

Okay so this cream is awesome I have to say only reason I knocked off one curl is because this now I don't particularly like the smell it's not bad it's just not for me but I do use it to fluff out my hair and it leave it shiny the ingredients have changed it no longer contains mineral oil:WATER, BIS-DIGLYCERYL POLYACYLADIPATE-2, GLYCERIN, ACETYLATED LANOLIN, PHENYL TRIMETHICONE, ISOPROPYL PALMITATE, LAURYL ALCOHOL, C18-21 ALKANE, C13-16 ISOPARAFFIN, PANTHENOL, OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) FRUIT OIL, HONEY (MEL), HEDYCHIUM CORONARIUM ROOT EXTRACT, CYMBOPOGON SCHOENANTHUS EXTRACT, HUMULUS LUPULUS (HOPS) EXTRACT, COIX LACRYMA-JOBI (JOB'S TEARS) SEED EXTRACT, GLYCERYL STEARATE, PEG-100 STEARATE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, CETEARETH-20, FRAGRANCE, TRIETHANOLAMINE CARBOMER, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, DISODIUM EDTA, DMDM HYDANTOIN, IODOPROPYNYL BUTYLCARBAMATE

Not one of my favorites. I didn't like the smell at all. It also didn't leave my hair moisturized. I ended up giving it to my daughter. She isn't natural but it works great on her hair.

I have VERY SOFT hair and it is quite annoying. After 3-4 hours, its guranteed that my hair is going to have some sort of frizz especially in the crown. I was hoping that this product would help with some of the frizz and fly-aways, but it was just ok. My hair would look good when I left the house, but towards the latter part of the day, it would still be a lot of frizz. Not sure I would ever buy this one again.

This is a great finishing product. It truly gets rid of frizz and fly-aways. Be sure to use this product when your hair is dry. I gave it 4 curls because it is expensive. Other than that I am happy with the results and will purchase again.

I have chin-length 3b hair w/layers and volume is my worst enemy! I have used Kiehl's Creme With Silk Groom for years to moisturize and weigh down my curls. This is a lighter version of that. I have to be a little more careful with this produce, though, because too much and I can look greasy. If I use it right, though, a dollop smoothed through my hair mid-day is a life saver. And I love the smell!

I like the idea of this product more than the actual product itself. You use it on the hair after it's dry to arrange the curls without frizzing up the hair. It does help. I must say I'm not crazy about the smell. Most other Hair Rules products I've used have a very light, unoffensive smell. If it weren't so expensive, I might have given it four stars.

This is a great product only as a finishing/touch-up cream. I would not use this as a hair lotion in large amounts. Only a very small amount is necessary and it keeps my hair smelling fresh after co-washing. It also leaves my hair frizz-free, soft (throughout the day), and with a nice shine. Ladies, I don't like some of the ingredients either but considering that I only use it sparingly, it is definitely worth buying as the perfect finishing touch!

GREAT product. I have short, coarse, semi-wavy, dry, thick 39 YO guy hair. Left to its own devices, just poofs out and is dry, frizzy, etc. This stuff gives me DREAM hair. Definition, shine, texture, touchable hold. Frizz control in NYC summer weather. Non-greasy but hydrating. By the way, I've been using as my stand-alone styling product and using in wet hair right after showering. Works on dry hair too though, like as directed. Amen.

I love this stuff. I use it everyday when I wake up from bed head, Or right b right before I leave the house.. It is great for touch ups and some moisture!

Love the scent..My hair is naturally soft, which I DON'T like. It's still soft, but a lot more manageable AND IT SHINES....love that. You need very very little so it should last a long time. I hesitated to order because I hate to pay all that postage but it was worth it.

I love this stuff. I use for me and my daughter. For her its like a detaingler and moisturizer. And for myself i can use it for everything, especially when i two strand twist my hair at night.

I really, really like this product. Be careful to use sparingly, though. A little goes a long way and a little too much can leave your hair heavy or a tad greasy. A very good product, though. It smells like a dream and is very easy to use. Just add a few dabs to dry hair and viola! It helps combat frizz all day long while adding softness, shine and manageability to your locks. I definitely feel that this product made my hair look more polished. I will definitely buy it again.

A nice finishing product. I've also used it to touch up my hair mid day when it's getting poufy. Not heavy or greasy.
