A good clarifying poo. Instructions said to use 1-2x/month, and I think it would be effective at that usage but too drying for a regular use poo.

I use this once a month on my 3C/4A hair. It's pleasant to use and nondrying. I would give it five stars but for the price.

This is a good clarifying shampoo that I use once a month. It cleans my hair well and does not strip my hair dry. However, I would not suggest using this for regular weekly or bi-weekly shampooing on type 4 hair. It could be a little harsh if used that often. A moisturizing shampoo with shea butter or regular co-washing is your best bet.

I used a sample that was included in one of my naturallycurly shipments and gave this a shot. It was by far one of the best clarifying shampoos on the market! A little too pricey for me to purchase but the sample did cleanse my hair very well.

I was worried about the sound of this shampoo; "grapefruit clarifying". I thought it'd be stripping, matting, tangling, etc. And though it was clear, thick & citrus scented (to me this means the above worries), it was a very moisturizing shampoo. I felt like I didn't need to use a deep treatment or daily rinse-out conditioner after it! I was fooled.

Yuck, drying and doesn't do anything for my hair.

It has a light, refreshing smell, but that's about it. I found it very harsh and drying.
