I absolutely love this curl cream for my twists. I didn't think creams worked for my hair, but this one dries fast, smells amazing, spreads easily, and if used with the rest of the line, keeps my hair moisturized for days! Will try to repurchase in 32 oz size when I'm not a broke college student anymore. lol.
This product smells good and had a light whipped feel to it. Other than that I'm not too impressed. It made my hair fizzy and dry I had to follow up with and oil to add shine and moisture back to my hair. I used it on both damped and dry hair. Both weren't favorable but dry produced better results.
This product has a very strong cinnamon+warm vanila scent to it, that i found to be too much. It is a medium weight styling cream that leaves my curls defined, yet greasy to the touch, and dry at the same time. It doesn't provide a whole lot of frizz control either. And, it really shrinks up my curls. I do not find anything special about this product at all.
This product is a soufflé textured cream that is only slightly lighter in texture and consistency than their Whipped Cream. It is recommended that you use this product in conjunction with their Quenched Curls Moisturizer. This cream weighs down my hair, but doesn't elongate them at all. It has this fake warm vanilla scent to it, that I truly could do without. It defines, defrizzes, gives a light curl hold. But, honestly, I didn't find this product truly to anything special at all. I find that CURLS products are too pricey and they simply don't live up to their claims.
im so disappoint with this product, i bought thinking this will be the best product ever but not at all. this smell amazing and the texture is so nice is creaming and don't leave my hands and hair heavy but don't give me any hold and my hair at the second day was so dry with a lot of frizz i used after cashmere leave in and don't like any of both.
Very moisturing product, and also love the smell of it (just like their coconut sublime conditioner). Give lots of shine to curls, not sure about the hold thought. But I am experimenting now together with the gel-Lc which seems to work a little better. I would definitely purchase it again. And if it would come in a bottle with dispenser I would give it a 5 star.
I love this product!!! It actually does what it says and it great for twist outs. This is the only product that completely defrizzes my hair and leaves my twists looking so defined. Plus it's light enough to reapply everyday. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because for wash n go's, it lacks shine. In humid clients, I can get away with not applying any oil on top of my hair after it dries but in drier climates, I noticed that I needed to melt my shea butter for extra sheen and seal.
Does not give any hold at all BUT the product smells like you can eat it! Not only that, it makes my hair very soft after a twist or braid out. I feel like my hair has some nutrients when I use this product on soaking wet hair for a set. I just couldn't give 5 stars because it doesn't really hold strands together...so you have big, wild, SOFT hair. ;0)
I have 3b hair and I like this product initially loved it. When I first started using products I tried this and found that with a good sulfate free shampoo (I used babaii hydrating), plus Cocunut sublime as a rinse out, this, and hydrating spray (something I make) while I scrunch I got great results. But with three kids I often don't have time for four steps. Plus without using all the steps this product did not give me the same great results. If I skipped the Coconut sublime my hair was not as moisturized and tended to frizz. This is a good product but not something that worked for me without investing time and money in multiple steps. And I found it necessary to deep condition more. Curls Whipped Heavy Styling Creme has become my favorite. I shampoo with Shea Moisture then apply Curls Whipped to wet sectioned hair. I don't need to keep hydrating and I get great soft curls with slight hold. It looks great wet as it dries and I can go 4-6 days with light spritzing and reshaping without needing to wash again. I would skip this and go for the Curls Whipped.
If you're looking for a product to give you that shine, bounce, and curl definition for a day then this is it. I want to buy some more and save it for my club nights other than that you can't depend on this product to give you what you want for the entire week.
This is the worst product ever! I have never experienced such dry hair. I had to deep condition twice before my hair felt close to being moisturized again. I was very disappoinited in this purchase.
I was okay with. It doesn't add a lot of hold to my hair but everything else was just in the okay zone.
This stuff didn't work for me at all. I've tried it a few times, and it leaves my hair frizzy, doesn't do a thing for my curls, flakes like mad when dry, and the smell is strong and gross. I really wanted to like it, because the texture is lovely, so I gave it several chances.
THis stuff made my hair mad at me. It was frizzy and stringy...but not crunchy. Doesn't crunchy usually go along with the other two? Not here. No. It was like curls punctuated with frizz. Clumps of frizz, strings of curls. It was like pinstriped, if you can imagine that. +1 star for the moisture. It was very moisturizing.
This product has the same fake warm vanilla scent to it as the Whipped Cream. Also, it is slightly lighter than the Whipped Cream as well. Also, just like the Whipped Cream, it leaves a greasy after feel and offers absolutely no frizz control. And, this product actually promoted shrinkage to my curls (which is a BIG no-no!)!
I absolutely love Curls Soufflé! I have 3C hair and it adds definition and shine. I don't frizz or anything, as long as my hair is soaking wet when I apply it. It also doesn't leave my hair flaky. And it makes for a great product when you want to slick your hair back!
It's not bad but it doesn't really give me a lot of hold by itself, although that might be due to my hair type. It's fairly moisturising but I prefer to use heavier moisturisers on my hair.
This is my favorite product for WNG! I use this on naked hair right after co washing and I love it because it really defines and defrizzes my curls. My hair soaks it right up and it moisturizes my thick hair. I love this that this product doesn't have any hold. It leaves my hair soft to the touch. This is one of my staples...I will continue to buy this.
I love this product and it smells great. It made my curls look awesome!! It works better if you use the CURLS quenched moisturizer first. I would definitely purchase this again. I've been interested in trying the CURLS Whipped cream as well.
I really like this product but I'm not so sure about how much moisture it provides. I used for a WNG over Trader Joes NourishSpa and let air dry.....my hair felt like STRAW. The next time I put in some QB Alma & Olive Oil Cream first and my hair came out bouncy and soft. For me the Souffle acts as a great finisher because it does seem to provide hold. but I need more moisture
I love this product. I have 3c/4a hair and I've used it on top of kinky curly knot today for twist-outs. I have also used it as a curl refresher. I find that my hair can't stand heavy oils or greasy products. Curls souffle gives my hair just the right amount of moisture and also defines my twist outs really well. I can't vouch for it when it comes to wash n go styles, though. I've never used it that way.
The product itself is really fantastic-- great hold, great stretch, eliminates frizzies. I'm super disappointed, however, in CurlMart's Shipping/Handling policies. Competitor sites can get sites out to me within 3 days. My items from CurlMart weren't even shipped within that time. It's a bit inconvenient and a let down.
Have used this a few times now but can never get a decent style out of it. It does have an ok smell to it but can be nauseating after a while.
I love this product. I have 3a/3b/3c curls and it gives it such a great curl definition. It leaves your hair nice and soft and doesn't have that crunchy hard feeling to it.
I really like this product. Makes my 3b/c hair soft and defines curls without getting crunchy. FYI Curly Q Custard is the same product for $2 less.
I am a 3a,b,c with the nape of my curls a 2c.I found this product to be very moisterizing and providing the hold I want for twisting my curls. Very satisfied and I will purchase again.
I don't really need help to define my curls but keeping them moisturized and non-frizzy is another story. I like this product for the non-crunchy, healthy look it has given my curls. I did notice that when I used less product my curls dry as a frizzy mess (hence my lower than perfect rating). I do love the smell of the product and its consistency. I would definitely purchase this product again.
One of the best products I've ever used for curl definition. It leaves my hair feeling and smelling great. I feel this has improved the health and condition of my hair. Great shine too!
Love this stuff! It moisturizes and defines my curls beautifully. Great for big poufy hair, probably not so great for fine or more subtle curl types.
Its a medium weight styling cream that delivers added definition, moisture, and frizz control to my curls. It does add a bit of weight to my curls and I find that it really increases curl definition in my hair better than any of the other Curls styling products.
