I like it, but I prefer Curls Gel-les'c. For dry or porous hair, use a leave-in prior.

It defines your curls VERY well but leaves your hair VERY greasy. I guess I would only use this product again if I'm going out and want that super curl definition look.

I think I am in love! Moisture, definition and hold in an easy-to-distribute product.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 curls was because I like the Curly Q version slightly better - and it is cheaper. It is a great gel.

It makes my hair frizzy, even when I combo it with my HG gel.

Great hold, shine, curl definition w/o the any crunchies or flaking! I use a large dallop evenly distributed throughout all sections of hair, scrunch and diffuse dry. Love this product for second day hair, too. Just run a little over the surface to calm any fuzzies from sleeping and you're good 2 go. Even better, there's not toxic chemicals that are going to expose me to cancer risk after years of use like most other products. (Watch out for Propelyn Glycol and the entire Glycol family!) All you have to do is google the side effects from use to find out it's really bad stuff :p Anyways, I use this product with a few squirts of their Quench Curls Moisturizer which helps with definition also and keeping curls soft but shiny at the same time. Go Curls!

I am not a gel person anymore. As, I actually much prefer using lotions/creams in my hair instead. But, I have used this product before and I do think that it is a fine product to use if you desire maximum hold to your curls. It's not as drying as alot of gels that I hae used in my hairr before, as it does have some added misturizing properties to it. However, I prefer more soft-to-light holding products in my hair, as I like hair that moves fairly easily in the wind. So, even though I don't use gels in my hair anymore, I am still going to rate this product a three as it is a pretty decent curl defining gel nontheless.
