I love this product. Didn't notice any added shine, but my hair is so much softer with it, and I don't feel weighted down from it. 2C\3A

I used the Citrus Lavender scent which was such a soft scent, not too intense. It definitely adds softness to my hair but I really like using it on my scalp for dryness because it has a lot of the same ingredients of at-home diy treatments. The light formula worked really well with my 2C curls.

This is a nice little blend of oils that is nice to use to fluff up a twist out. A little goes a long way.

still in the process of using jessicurl for the first time and getting the hang of how much of the oil to put in my hair so that it isn't overly oiled/greasy, but i love the fragrance and so far have no complaint

This is a good product, with a delightful fragrance (Island Fantasy). However, I actually think it works better for those with low curl pattern hair, or, even straight hair. I used this on my Dear Mom, who has natural hair worn pressed. She would not have to oil her hair and scalp until she presses her hair again the following week. On the other hand, I am a curly/kinky natural, and need to use this product every day in order to keep my hair soft and my scalp conditioned. I actually think that butters work better for those of us with 4 curl pattern hair.

Instant HG! A drop of this product is the best, most nourishing mid-day frizz fighter I've tried. I also use an Ayurvedic hair oil on my scalp at night; working a drop of this through the length helps me keep my curls soft and bouncy for a second day. I agree that the price is high for a blend of oils that most of us probably have in our kitchens; but remember, the BLEND is done right here, and that counts for a lot. I've tried so many oils that are too heavy for my fine, fine hair. Also, Island Fantasy smells amazing -- a light coconutty smell. This stuff is the best! I think I'll never be without it.

It's an oil, not really worth $12 for 2 oz since the 3 oils in it are just basic oils that I can purchase anywhere. I love the island fantasy scent though.

Very nice blend, good sealer. Had to cut the bottle and transfer it into a jar because it remained solid even at room temperature.

Back in the "old days" (pre-CG for 40-some years) I used to deal with my hair on a trial-and-error basis. My hair was always very dry and damaged, even before I started coloring it, and I thought that meant it was "fine" or "fragile". I was never a fan of hair salons, because they usually destroyed my hair, so I never had a decent hair analysis. I tried to work with my own hair based on ads in Vogue magazines, and I can't say I ever quite got the couture look...to say the least. I finally determined that products I'd been using, (including those sold to me by stylists), were destroying my hair, instead of helping it. I took matters into my own hands. I had quite a few disastrous errors (the rosewater-glycerin, the mayonnaise, the moroccanoil, the Bio-Oil -especially nasty-...), but one evening after pouring two bottles of jojoba oil all over my hair, I noticed that my hair started to spring into shape immediately after it was saturated with oil. I'd been straightening my hair, so I was surprised. I'd assumed oils would flatten my hair, not curl it. My hair was so dried out, damaged, and frizzed, though, I had just wanted to smooth it, and I didn't care how it was shaped. I started using jojoba at night, and eventually tried EVOO from my pantry. I loved the EVOO as well, but it was much heavier on my hair than the jojoba. After being CG for awhile, I wanted to find a good oil blend for occasional use. I can't use pure oils as stylers because they're too heavy, but I like to have a nourishing oil on hand for scrunching, and smoothing when I need it. I read the ingredients in this blend, and knew I had to try it. I'm very glad I did. It's exactly what I wanted - a fortifying blend that's not greasy, but adds good moisture and smooths fried ends. It feels great on my scalp as well! I like the spray bottle for application, and when I use this at night under my sleep cap,in the morning my hair feels revitalized. No silicones! I would hug "Jessi" if I could!

I agree about miracle in a bottle, this really is. It made HG status the first time I tried it. I use it after my leave in to seal in moisture, on dry hair to add softness, shine, and control, and to help refresh 2nd day hair. I also use it on my face. It's just incredible. I've tried other oils, like pure jojoba, and they don't compare. Plus, I got this in Island Fantasy and it smells delicious. I will be stocking up on this.

This is a miracle in a bottle. It last quite a long time, and smells wonderful. I have extremely frizzy hair, and now, I don't have to put any hairspray, or gels in my hair to keep the frizz down, with this product!!! I am in love with it. I use it with Kinky-curly knot today after my shower, and as well Curl Assurance Smoothing lotion. I never give products 5 curls, unless they are a miracle in a bottle, which this is.

My hair is easily weighed down with certain oils & butters & I thought with coconut oil topping the list that this would be too heavy. But it's a great oil blend & scent (Island Fantasy) that puts moisture back into my hair or rather seals it in when applied to freshly wet hair. My hair feels so soft & smells so good after using.
