I really like this over a leave-in or CK and under a gel. It seems to encourage my definition to be extra clumpy and springy.

I really like this as leave-in followed with a little mousse or a heavier gel on the ends for hold. It is tricky to use, you have to add a little water on top of it to activate. Great frizz control and definition. Worth the change in my hair styling routine.

This product works wonders for me. It does enhance my curl but it does not make them tighter. I have 2A/3A combo hair. It is moisturizing and smells great. It does not feel producty on your hair either. I don't normally get frizz and this did not cause it. I use a hard hold gel over it but consider this to be a HG staple product! Does not weigh down my fine thin hair either like the CJ CCCC can. Recommended!

A real HG curl enhancer for me in the summer. I like it best over KBB nectar and under Abba firm hold gel. This combo gives me well-defined curls that are soft to the touch. The CJ CCCC, by contrast, made my hair feel a bit product-y (though it has more hold on its own).

First of all really like the fragrance. Gives my curls good definition but it leaves them a bit dry hence I do need to use it with another product.

I first tried this product on my long 2B while I was visiting humid East Texas for Mardi Gras. I used it in combination with CJ Curl Assurance Leave-in conditioner. Can I just say this was the head of hair I've wanted my whole life? My curls were soft, full and well-defined. I stood watching the parade in light drizzle and still came out of it with great hair. I tried the same combo again back home in Austin and had slightly different results. My hair ended up feeling a little product heavy. I was dissappointed, but I plan to try again, adjusting the amount of product. I find the texture and smell of this product very appealing: Light and tropical.

Like the other new CJ products, it has a nice light fragrance. This product is a little different to use. After you apply it, it works best if you 'activate' it with water. You can either spritz water in using a water bottle or simply wet your hands and scrunch some water in. My curls weren't quite as tight as they were with the Aloe Fix Gel, but were still nicely formed and defined. My hair was really soft and frizz free. I need a lot of hold, so I still scrunched in some gel after using this product. I used it the same way I would use any curl cream ... after leave-in and before a gel. Will definitely repurchase.
