A lot of the "shine" products I've used end up causing frizz so I was skeptical to try this. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It definitely adds shine and cuts frizz on 2nd day hair and a little (1 tiny drop) goes a long way in my thick, long hair. I have to be careful when I use it though because it does weigh my hair down and can make it look to greasy if I use even just a tad too much. I only use it on the ends & lower 1/3 of my dry hair. If I get it too close to the roots I look like I haven't washed my hair in weeks! Considering the tiny amount needed to get good results, it is worth the price.

This was ok.. not too heavy, but you cannot use a lot! It does help with frizz.

I've abandoned my product junkie tendencies since finding the right routine. However I needed to go to Ulta for my Deva shampoo and I saw this next to it. A water-soluble serum, and despite the high price tag, I was very intrigued, especially since I have been looking for a solution to second day hair, and besides returns at Ulta are very easy.
Now after a couple of tries I'm not sure if I should keep it. Its quick thick, like someone else here mentioned, its really more of a liquid pomade with a surprisingly strong hold. It has a stong smell, which, to me isn't offensive and if used sparingly does dissipate some.
I use it on dry or damp hair as a finisher. I rake a tiny dot of it through my dried bangs for hold and definition and for that it works like a dream. It be great for straightened hair with a lot of texture. On my curls, after diffusing, I emulsify about a half pump in my hands and very lightly run them over the canopy, then follow with gently scrunching all over.
Here's the run down:
The bad: Pricy, must be used very sparingly, if overused hair gets stiff and product-y, does not leave hair soft and does not scrunch out easily
The good:
does impart shine and definition, great hold for straighed areas like bangs, and its good for creating that piecy look, hold is strong and good for keeping curls from drooping, effective for calming frizz, rinses clean without needing shampoo.
Like I said, it will take a few tries before I decide to keep or return it. The deciding factor will be whether it passes the second day hair test.

If I could give it zero curls, I would. I tried many many many different variations in how I used this, and in the end the result was always the same: greasy, product-y, horrid looking hair. Not to mention, charging $25 for 1.7oz. of product is highway robbery. Would not repurchase, do not recommend.

I like MirrorCurls. My stylist uses it as a shine serum/finisher on dry hair. She used (and I use) literally one drop! One drop! Not even close to a pump. I emulsify the one drop in my hands and I use it to scrunch out the crunch, I smooth it on my bangs to keep them straight and flat, and on the canopy to smooth frizz and define clumps and curls.

For this much money I really wanted to like it. I tried using the recommended amount, and then 1 pump in wet hair with ArcAngel and both ways it left my hair feeling icky and dry with not enough shine to make it worthwhile. The first time I used it I could not get it off of my hands all day!

Perfection. I use this on dry hair. Every night I pile my hair on top of my head in a "pineapple." In the morning, I take my hair down and scrunch a dime sized amount of MirrorCurls into the ends of my (long) hair and finish by smoothing my hands lightly over the top of my hair, avoiding the roots. My dry and frizzy hair looks polished, the color pops, and my curls are shiny and full of bounce.
Thank you DevaCurl!

I saw this on the shelf at Ulta after reading the reviews here and thought to myself, "ooh, a trial size so I can try it out." No, it really is that small for a whole lot of money. Fortunately, they had one opened as a tester so I figured I would try it out (it would have to be a miracle product for me to spend that kind of money on it). It was very sticky and almost greasy in my hands. I only used one pump and scrunched my curls with it. It really didn't do much for me other than make my hair look like I hadn't washed it in a while. I don't mind the smell of other Deva products (and usually can't smell it after it's in my hair), but this stuff smells horrible and it lingers for a long time. Don't waste your money.

Love it!!! Just used a little bit and made my curls shine almost glisten without making it look greasy. And little goes a long way.

Absolutely love it! Every way I´ve used it was amazing, gave me great definition, a lot of shine -something like a polished reflection - and an extra bang. Smells great, though I can´t feel it after using it, is not sticky and rinses out easily from hand and hair. Oh, and if the locks are tired at the end of the day a nice scrunch with a drop of this brings them back to life! I´d just be careful with using too much, one or two pumps is enough for my really short curls

It provides shine, definition and hold but is very tacky to use. Left my hair producty using it both wet and dry, by itself and mixed with Angell. I used the recommended amt. and it was way too much. Just one pump was almost too much for my shoulder length hair. It did not rinse out well.
Smells great but not worth the tacky, sticky feel.
