I actually like the performance of this spray- it does seem to add a little something something (moisture, volume), but I cannot get past the smell; it is like old lady perfume from the 80's. Just bad.

This product works well. It keeps moisture in and gives a little (just a little) bit of shine to hair. Still, I would not buy it again as it gave me an allergy when some drops entered my nose while applying it AND I have found better results with mane 'n' tale herbal infused spray therapy; which is less expensive and more effective. I would not recommend this product as I have found others that work better.

This instantly helps poofy frizz turn back into ringlets and curls. It's light as air, moisturizing, build-up free, and has a little hold. During very dry weather the canopy of my hair can start looking like frayed rope, and feeling coarse. I spray this on, and it reactivates my styling products while softening the dryness. It's difficult to find a glycerin-free refresher spray, and sprays don't get better than this one. I can barely get second day hair when dew points are extremely low, but this helps so much. It's nice for softening hair before bed as well.

Definitely wakes up hair in the afternoon. Honestly not a huge difference. I would never use this product alone it styling my hair. It works well in conjunction with other products. I would only recommend to people who can afford to splurge.

It smells nice but it made my hair feel weird & dry. Maybe it's just not for my texture.

I (TRIED) to used this product for about a year and half. I first got this products for my perm.. FAIL. Then I tried to use it when I went natural.. FAIL. For my TWA.. FAIL. Now for my shoulder length hair...FAIL For my 4b hair this does literally nothing. Makes my hair soooo dry. Will never in a million years buy again. That is all. (You may wonder why i chose to use the product for sooo long.. because I forgot to stop my subscription and was sent 5 bottles of each of their products.. i didn't want waste my money...FAIL).

I love using this as a moisture lock. It's light weight and effective.

i have a blend of 3a/b/c hair, this is a really good refresher for my hair, i don't like i have to spray a lot. i may switch it to another spray bottle. i use it at night as a moisturizer, and/or in the morning for 2nd day wash and go hair just to refresh. i gave it 3 because it's pricey for me at $16.

I love this spray for second day hair. The only problem is that I have to use a lot of it. I have never had a problem with it making my hair stiff or sticky. Great for second and even third day hair.

This product world best right out of the shower as a styler. I have yet to find anything that can refresh my hair later. I still love it right out of the shower though.

I Love the Botanical Boost. The light scent smells very nice. And it works great!!

I really like this stuff!! It's not a smoothing serum, it's a "refresher" and it smells SO good!! I bought the Ouidad travel pack, and I liked this so much, I went back and bought the full-size bottle. I will refill the little bottle and keep it in my purse so I can do a little spritz when I'm frizzing. It is not dis-similar to spritzing water, but it adds some extra moisture & control to my hair when I feel it getting bigger and bigger. It's not a mircale product, but it really does come in handy, and I love the smell, so I'll definitely keep on buying it!!

I generally like the Ouidad products, but my hair reacts adversly to the botanical boost spray. Instead of refreshing my curls, it makes them stiff and dry-I think it's from the massive amount of protein in this product, as my hair is course and healthy. Also, it seems to make my hair really frizz up. I'm better off spritzing w/ distilled water, lavendar oil, and some condish than using this product.

I wanted to like this product and don't want to give it a low rating but for my health, I have to. I only have the old product so am not sure if they changed the formula. As for the old formula - it worked for my hair using a small amount (it made my hair greasy with too much product but worked with less), however it gave me a horrible allergic reaction! I don't have asthma or any allergies at all, I am in my 20s and very healthy, but when I used this in my hair I immediately started wheezing and had trouble breathing. It happened all throughout the day - every time I would smell the product in my hair. I used it a few times to make sure it wasn't a one-time thing and it happened every time. Be careful if you are sensitive to perfumes or have allergies when using this product!

After searching (in vain) for the one spray refresher for my coarse, dry curls I finally settled on this miracle in a bottle. Not only does it get rid of the dreaded afternoon 'poof' we all get, but it has allowed me to extend my curls two and three days before re-wetting! Awesome conditioning, no crunch when I bend at the waist & spray under then flip and spray on top, smoothing very lightly in a downward motion, scrunching from underneath. Great stuff!

The best refresher for your style! I can get great 2nd and even 3rd day hair using this product. simply spay on, scrunch and your style is refreshed. Great conditioning as well!

I use this everyday.. sometimes several times a day, to refresh and re-boost my curls... I love it! I buy it in the Professional size!!

This summer, this has been working so great for my curls. Really love the SMELL, awesome. as a refresher works really well.

The old formula was good, but they've recently changed it and the new formulation makes my hair frizzy.
