I am not transitioning , i am one year natural and i love this stuff .the coconut lemongrass transitioning creme is thick , but light when you put in your hair , and moisturizing. It makes my hair so soft , I use it with the curl styling cream and natural coils jelly. :-)

I bought this for my relaxed hair to help me get through long stretches. I've had it for about 3 months and it really didn't impress me. Today I used it on my dd's natural hair. It was magic. It was like the miracle product all naturals search for. As a matter of fact, if I had tried this when I was natural, I never would have relaxed.

This leave-in is creme is very moisturizing and super thick. It doesn't seem to weigh my fine hair down which is a plus for me. It helps with my new growth as I am transitioning from relaxed to natural hair. I use on dry hair and I like it a lot.

Love this product! I use it as a moisturizer and it has quickly become my staple. Leaves my hair feeling so soft and fluffy all day. It's very thick and creamy but doesn't feel heavy. I don't like the smell of lemongrass so that's my one pet peeve about this product. If it came in different scents it would be perfect.

I really like the darcy's botanicals line and have had pretty positive experiences with most of the products I've tried...with the glaring exception of this one. Despite the great ingredients (the only reason it gets 2 stars instead of one), it goes on horribly. It seems to make my hair drier/stiffer after application and leaves a white, almost flaky residue. The smell as well left a lot to be desired (seemed almost stale like). I'm not sure if my particular bottle was a fluke, but I'm pretty disappointed by it..I wanted it to work out for me badly.

love this creme!!! i'm not transitioning, i've been natural for 3.5 yrs and this creme works very well with my hair. it's very moisturizing and makes my hair very soft. love the lotion-like consistency( a little goes a long way). i will definitely be re-purchasing!!!

Since I began transitioning, I feel like I have been on this never ending quest to find a moisturizer that works for both my relax hair and new growth. This product blew me away. I use it as a daily moisturizer, I don't use a lot of it, but it is keeps my hair moisturized all day. I am definately a fan, will be trying other products from DB

I have used this product about 5 times as my leave-in conditioner and I have to say that I love it. It leaves my course and dry 4a/4b transitioning hair moisturized for days. It doesn't quite give me the slip that I need to detangle but with a little work with my wide tooth comb I can get it detangled and ready to style. I will say that a little does go a long way when it comes to moisturizing.

I am transitioning and have been struggling in keeping my hair moisturized. THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING!! My hair has never been so soft! The only down side is that it doesn't give my hair enough slip to detangle. So instead I stick to my cheap conditioner for that. But overall a little goes a LOOOONNNGGG way. I will definitely be reordering this product again.

I just recieved my products in the mail today and the Coconut Lemongrass Transitioning Creme was included. I've fallen in love with it already and this was only my first use! I love the way my comb was able to glide through after I applied it to my transitioning hair! Cool beans

I have natural 4a 4b hair, and am not transitionoing. It is extreamly thick and coarse. It tangles very easily and mats. I really liked this leave in. It provides moisture has a light smell, and detangles. I am very satisfied and will repurchase. I think this product is going in my regular product purchases. It fufills all it's promises, and is a good leave in for natural hair. Although I did detangle in the shower, while styling my hair it was much easier to comb and detangle after using this product.

I've used this product several times, and, although it gets raves, it works better as a body lotion than as a detangler for me. It doesn't provide enough slip for my hair, and, it leaves my hair feeling hard initially immediately following application, and then doesn't really leave my hair feeling soft. So, I am giving this two curls as a styling product.

i used this in place of my KC Knot Today. I'm fully natural, and i detangle WAY before i'm at the LEAVE IN conditioner step of my regimen, so i can't vouch for its detangling properties. It does add softness to hair. It's a bit on the thick side, so i use less of it than the Knot Today (which goes on like liquid sort of). Since it's not light, it's not the best for daily refreshing (like when you wake up and your puff is smushed). But Darcy's has other conditioners that are pretty similar to Knot Today (which is what i refresh my hair with). Solid product. I don't mind the price (and i'm in college) i just mind that i can't drive to the store to get all my natural hair products :(

This product is great for transitioners. I am transitioning and I use this for my thick NG and it really helps tame is and keeps it moisturized. I love using this for my ponytail rollersets. It has my roots looking so moisturized and smooth. I just ordered 2 more bottles

They are right, a little goes a long way. I used this product after washing my hair for moisturizing and twisting. I thought that if I put more on, I would get the detangling feeling you get with something like Creme of Nature Shampoo... but what you get is oilier hair. So, Use this product in careful moderation. It will moisturize your hair, it smells nice and the natural ingredients are good for your hair. Don't expect this to to make your hair easier to work with. It is good to help condition your hair.
