CurlySuzy - Hair Type: 2b I liked this product BUT only in small amounts and on almost dry hair with a leave-in or curl cream under it. It controls frizz and creates a nice softness. When I used too much or put it on dry hair I had white little balls all over the place. I also tried it on wet hair all alone and I didn't get much from it.
FrizzBgone - Hair Type: I often use this as a mid-day pick-me-up on my curls. It works really well. It is quite forgiving - doesn't make my hair greasy. It adds some hold and gives shine when I use it on my dry hair. I have repurchased several times. I even leave a tube of it at work so I don't have to travel back and forth with it. Great product

davidinaustin - Hair Type: 2b A note to all manufacturers of hair styling products - please stop just picking words and packaging at random. This isn't paste. It's a chunky cream, to be sure, but it isn't paste. That said, it has a pleasant mild scent, and a soft, not-sticky hold that works great for my tousled hair. I am a fan of MGA and while this is most assuredly not a paste, I'll use it because it works well and isn't chock full of petrochemicals. I use it on towel dried, damp hair and after it air dries a bit, I run my fingers through it and get good definition without that dry flake or flat hair color you get from other products. I still don't know what "fractured looking hair style" means, and I sure wish they'd stop using that phrase altogether in their advertising, but there you go.

Kitathena - Hair Type: I am 3c/4a (I think).
Overall, I liked this product. It reminds me a lot of Aveda Be Curly, except there’s no terrible smell and it’s not chocked full of silicones. I didn’t expect it to have a lot of hold, but it actually has a decent amount. There was some crunchiness in the finer sections of my hair but none at all in the coarser parts. I was able to get second day hair with this product . As for the frizz factor, I still had some, but then again, I always have some frizz so that’s no surprise.
I actually used it initially after doing a DC overnight. I rinsed, leaving a little of the DC (jessicurl wdt) in and and then applied the texture paste. This was a good combo as far as softness and defintion, though I found some white flaky parts in my hair once it dried. By itself, it’s not terribly drying though I like it better with a leave in under it. Again, this is not super curl definition, but I would not call it a light hold either. Also, there was no curl elongation for me, if you’re looking for that.

CurlA - Hair Type: 3a Just like the other products from this line it's great. I did not even needed to apply anything the next day. Great shine and curl formation.
