- Prevent is a gentle plant derived shampoo specifically formulated to use everyday on young skin. In one step you can cleanse deeply and help to make hair unattractive to head lice; excellent peace of mind when a high probability of head lice exposure exists. The probability of head lice exposure increases during warmer weather (>20°c), contact in the classroom, active outbreaks, school camps or sleepovers, etc. It is suitable for use by the whole family. I feel completely secure using this on my kids' hair. So natural and completely effective... and their hair gets really dirty!

You have never seen 3 little kids more excited about the smell of a shampoo. Comments ranged from "it smells like the oranges at the school cafeteria," to "it smells like your breakfast (grapefruit) mommy!" Consumers note: this product is all natural and does not produce a rich lather. You may feel like you need to use a lot. I have a 4 yr old with fine hair, and I would say this was a really great shampoo for her. With my older daughter, who has more hair, I really just focused on the scalp.
