I like the smell and the smell lingers. I did not really care for the product and I do not feel like it was worth the 20 dollars i paid for it. It is ok for a conditioner but I will not say that this product is a deep conditioner. I will keep this product for times when I have absolutely NO conditioner.

I hate this conditioner...!!!! The only reason I gave it 2 curls is because of the smell and the way it curled up my hair. Honestly, this is the first DC I've used that has made my hair drier than it was before I used it. I even added moderate heat with the dryer for about 5 minutes and let it sit under a towel for a 10 additional minutes. When I washed it out it also did not effectively detangle my hair. And even while wet it just didn't feel moisturized. Since I can't return it, I might give to someone else... Just terrible. Oh yea! There is a cone in it, and it's at the top of the list! I know I didn't pay $20 for a DC with cheap cones in it... Stay away! Don't buy! I think the whole CD line is just terrible...highway robbery! Try Shea moisture!!!

I was razzled n' dazzled by a CD sales associate into buying this and I never slowed down long enough to examine the ingredients; Amodimethicone, right there. Oh well! For the price, I'd hope to avoid any silicones, although it doesn't cause any build up... Anywho, it's an ok deep conditioner. Moderate slip, it does soften my hair, but it's also SUPER greasy, even after rinsing it out. I have the same issue with their Hair Milk. I've decided to keep it, but I won't buy it again.

Definitely not for my hair! I've never tried it with heat, but using it as a regular deep conditioner it leaves my hair dry and brittle. It is rubbish at detangling, and the slightly herbal smell I usually like in Carol's Daughter products. Also, the consistency is too thick and buttery for my liking, so it doesn't dissolve well in water and is difficult for me to spread through my hair. It doesn't emulsify well in my hair like other butters. Maybe I need to use it with heat or maybe I just got a bad batch in my order, but this was definitely a horrible choice for my curls.

Wow! This is the first Carol's Daughter conditioner I used and I have to say it is amazing. My curls were so shiny and so soft and so manageable! I absolutely recommend this, it's fabulous and smells great. :)

I'd have to say that the best thing about the product is the scent. I've used this product as a leave in, as a DC under a hood dryer, and I've mixed it with other products. But really, it's not amazing. I wouldn't recommend spending this much money for 8 oz of a product that is only so-so. There are better products out there.

This product was a waste of money in my opinion. I paid $17.00 at my PX on base. I have no problem shelving out money for a hair product as long as it WORKS. This is no "miracle" or HG by my standards. When I put it on it felt like any cheap condish I could buy for 2/3 the price! And maybe it's the protein (I'm a tad protein-sensitive) but when I put it on my ends they felt DRY. More than half of the ingredients are cheap or bad so I don't understand why it's so expensive. Bottom line: waste of money and I wouldn't recommend it or buy it again.

Too much dang money to contain silicones in it. I'm not one of those CG girls or whatever and don't mind silicones in my styling products, but I'm also aware that they can give you the illusion that your hair's being repaired when really it's just filling in areas that need to be repaired. Anyway, it's DEFINITELY an ingredient that I don't want to be in something I'm using to build hair health. Cones are cheap. If I wanted to pay for a deep conditioner with cheap ingredients I'd go to Target (sorry if my typing sounds so harsh). Of course if you don't care about that sort of thing then give it a try. It may work for you. But for those who care...just go with Aubrey Organics. You can do better. Trust me. :)

I hated this product and I was very disappointed because I wanted to love it since I like Carol's Daughter's Hair Butter and Hair Milk. This conditioner, coupled with the shampoo shunk my curls and dried my hair up so badly that it looked like a frizzy, dry shrivled mess. I've never seen my hair look that way before. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone, nor would I use it again.

As tempting as it looks in the picture, the smell is even better! But, even better than the smell, the product left my hair combable (HUGE accomplishment when dealing with my hair) and it moisturized it well! It did take quite a bit of it however to fully coat my hair.

It gets the job done, its thick but when you put it on your hair, it doesnt coat that well. The smell is fine, and the effect is of a condtioner left in hair long, you could get the same effect by using Herbal Essence Hydralicious conditioner in for an hour. I wasn't impressed, I still have a 2/3 full jar that I haven't touched.

SMELLS AMAZING! Loved this product, but won't be purchasing again because of bad ingredients. (parabens, silicones) Wish they would make it all natural because then I would buy it again. Used it all up though and loved it!

Smells divine. Left my hair feeling moisturized. Plenty of slip for combing. Very thick, rich consistency. Need bigger size!
