I have used products for dandruff and dermatitis and none of them have worked the way this one does. I like to transfer the shampoo into an applicator bottle to get the shampoo directly on the affected areas of my scalp. I then massage those areas and let the shampoo stay on for about 5-10 minutes. During that time, the scalp starts to tingle with a cooling sensation. I then rinse the shampoo out and apply the moisture retention shampoo to add the moisture back into the hair. When this process is used, I have found that the hair feels less stripped because the product isn't distributed throughout. This method allows me to treat only the necessary areas. I have definitely seen and felt a difference in my scalp since using this product.

Tingly! This get 4 curls because it did keep my scalp from itching after I used it. My felt clean, but a little stripped afterwards. I immediately used the conditioner after shampooing.
