I know most curlies don't care for this product, but it works well for me. Ever since cutting my EXTREMELY EXTREMELY THICK waist length hair into a layered cut that falls below my shoulders, I have been using mousse instead of gel. It holds well. You just have to use it VERY sparingly unless you don't mind that crunchy feeling. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 curls is because I'm still in the process of trying new products!

Very good hold when used with a curl cream. Have to use a fair bit but would definitely recommend

Not enough hold or definition for me. Hair was flat-ish.
