3c I love this gel. It's not too heavy and it leaves my hair sooooo soft and shiny. It also pairs great with kinky curly knot today and Giovanni direct leave in.

2c/3a curls. Very disappointing particularly after reading so many positive reviews. Made my hair flat and greasy looking so I tried just a very small amount which of course was like using nothing so i had a head of shapeless frizz all day.. nice. i'll try again when i'm feeling less disgusted but so far not impressed. Luckily it wasn't expensive. I read it's a knockoff of Biolage gelee. Maybe i should have gotten that instead. Their hydrating shampoo and conditioner are the bomb.

I'm in love! This gel performs well in humid Southern Florida. It pairs well with all different conditioners -- the best from my experience is with Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Conditioner. This gel give me springy soft curls. Most of the time, I use a small amount of Aussie Instant Freeze over the top, to counter-balance the glycerin in this gel and help combat frizz. No crunchies to scrunch out, but still get all the hold of a hard gel. Awesome!

Funny how it says highly rated for for 3A/B types and the reviews are coming from those hair types. My 3C/4A coils love this stuff! I've mixed it with all my different conditioners and there are absolutely no flakes! I don't use a lot (so there's almost no crunch), but it helps to soften and define my curls and keep them frizz-free even on the most humid Southern summer days.

A little sticky, but adding aloe vera gel helps a lot. Good definition of curls, nice smell.

I use this product daily, and it is wonderful. Leaves my hair soft, defined, and crunch-free. Frizz control could be slightly better and it only has medium hold, but this really is an excellent gel for daily use. And the bottle is HUGE! Nice, light scent, too.

I've got wavy to curly 3a hair and this product was okayish but I didn't like it as much as other products that are around the same price point (herbal essences totally twisted or aura hypo-allergenic gel)

I HATED this product! It left my black 3b curls with build up and white flakes. Possibly the worst gel I have ever used!

This is always my go-to gel, I get great clumping after leaving in some Sonoma soap co. conditioner and plopping and diffusing plus it held up great when we traveled to San Diego on the beach with humidity, best looking hair I've ever had at the beach!

I agree with others - great price, great product. Only 4 curls due to the fact that I have to mix it with another product (BRHG) for the perfect hold - but with it, I get amazing, shiny curls that last 3 days!

I have been using this exclusively as my styler for several months. I used to use CHS Curl Keeper under my other gels, but have been using this alone with great results. I get 3-4 day hair using this gel. Nice, clean scent, not sticky or anything. (3b mix)

This is pretty much my go-to gel. Light and easy to distribute but with great hold. And you can't beat the price!

I love this gel. It is a medium hold gel and it mixes nicely with other gels (e.g., BRHG for a little more hold). It also smells terrific -- very clean.
