These will become staples. I use the T3 for moisturizing my hair and T4 for a sealant and protein enrichment. The abundant butter/oil blends complement one another for my type hair - a random mixture of: 4a on the crown and right side of my head. Just over my left ear is a patch of 4b. My hair is porous because, even though I keep it in its natural state, it is gently bleached (at an Aveda Salon) with a highlight effect throughout. So, there is inevitable damage. With that, I need products rich in moisturizing, strengthening, and sealing properties that also add shine. These 2 products fit the bill. The scent is pleasant, price is right for 2 jars and they meet my hair's needs.
I'm not the biggest fan of all the My Honey Child products but I love these two cremes and they work excellent apart and together. The price is decent and the product is worth every penny. Type 3 I use as a moisturizer, and Type 4 I use as a styler. Love these, and I will be repurchasing!!!
I have type 4b-4c hair and I absolutely love the type 3 and 4 hair cremes. I've done wash and goes that were awesome with these products as well as twist and cornrow styles. These products left my hair shiny, moisturized, and beautiful. These products are a little pricey but they last. I purchased them in January and use them alot but I still have a good amount of product left. I will definitely repurchase these products.
This review is for the type 4 hair creme that is a part of the pack. It just sat on my hair and did not penetrate at all, it was just oily but not moisturizing and very very heavy. Had a nice smell, minty which is good in my book, but the product did not live up to expectations. It did not impart softness, although it did impart shine but it was not the kind of shine that comes from adding something nourishing to your hair. MissHoneyChild is great concept, but I think she needs to reformulate her products. I have been really disappointed by this line. I estimate I purchased 25 to 30 items from her lines. I have not really used the plethora of conditioners I bought from her except the Oraganic Shea Light conditioner, which ended up being recyled in the trash bin. Bought so far, I have been totally NOT impressed with her styling product and all I want is hair health and moisture, I am not even looking for a product to defiine my curls. How hard of a task is that?
I cannot attest to the type 4 creme but I bought the type 3 from her website. It is a very thick almost whipped creme (I find all her creamy products seem to be). Provides moisture & tames flyaways. Not my holy grail of products but definitely handy to have around. I bought the sample 2oz and I've used it many times and still have quite a bit. A little goes a long way. May be too heavy for finer haired ladies like myself on a wash & go but for a ponytail or bun I can see this coming in handy.
I love this product. I have a mix of 3c, 4ab hair and have tried a number of products to keep my kinky hair moisturized. I am 5 months in to my transition and have been doing rod sets weekly and typically do not moisturize between sets (outside of an oil sheen spray). This is the only product to date that has kept my hair soft and moisturized.
