I bought this product and I don't even think I am going to bother trying this. The organic shea light conditioner was not a good experience. It was the most unpleasant experience I have ever had with a conditioner and I quite literally bought all of the excesses from the clearance department because it was shea and I knew it was going to be a great product. I did not know the curlmart accepted returns,so I threw out all of the bottles after conditioning with this twice. Overall, I have had a lot of hair breakage using MissHoneyChilds products which stopped after I went back to Oyin. I had a pretty nice looking head of hair too. I do not know what to say but this line is not my favorite and I really wanted to like it. I still do not understand how those ingredients can go oh so wrong for my hair. Because I have had such a negative experinece with this line, I will be taking this unopened jar and recycling it because I have done enough to my hair and I am not willing to try this product after reading the review below. Again, that Organic Shea light conditioner was probably the worse conditioner I have ever used. You are supposed to use it as a first step before using this "deep conditioner". Giving the deep paste two stars, even though I have not used this product. The organic light conditioner would have gotten a 1/4 of one star. After I took the last of their inventory, curlmart no longer offers a place for a review so I am putting it here. I am not willing to risk more breakage to my tresses. So far, my experience with this line has been, try the product for a couple of days washing my hair almost everynight and layering with other products to try and add moisture. Looking at the clumps of hair on the floor, realizing that my hair is not just breaking it was breaking because this line did not impart moisture to my hair and actually dried it out. Want to reiterate that the moment I switched lines, the breakage stopped immediately and then I would try a new product from this line thinking that it was just that product that did not work. I had the twist out creme, the buttery soy (which got great reviews), a lot of the honey creme moisturizing creme, all of their lotions, leave in conditioners and not product has worked for me. This line is not for me and I wish I had never tried it. Tol put it mildly, I have been negatively conditioned to myhoneychild. I still have a large stash of their conditioning line, including the Olive me conditioner and if any of those work I will let you know. The Hair Reformer Conditioner was fine, interesting enough because it has protein in it I was afraid to try it after my experience with their styling products and organic shea light conditioner but it was fine, just a normal conditioner.
I was really wanting this product to work since I love shea butter. It was horrible on my hair. I should have known better because the consistency is so thin. It appears as if it is missing an ingredient like BTMS or incroquat. After wash out, my hair felt like a tangeled mess. I was soooo very disappointed. My breakage was alot more while detangling than it has ever been with any other product.
