This isn't wholly terrible, but it's not great either. The first few times I used this under the miracurl gelly it worked ok. It started to separate later and the oil was floating on top so I had to shake it each time I used it. The smell also went from coffee-coco nutty to something off. I like products with a milky consistency but I won't purchase this again.

Seeing the other reviews and ingredients here, I think she changed the formulation. My bottle has glycerin as the third ingredient, and it's pretty thin in consistency. That being said, I love this stuff. It's very moisturizing as a LI and I could use it in high dews under a gel and not get any frizz. I haven't used it in low dews, but I'm going to test it. I always get crazy soft hair with this product. Oh, and it smells like cake icing. ::thumbs up::

This is an odd product. I find it too thick to use as a styler or rinse out conditioner. I use it occasionally on dry hair to add some moisture, but it is so thick that it is difficult to distribute. I usually have to add some water to my hands to be able to distribute it through my hair. I like lots of the DM products, but I won't be repurchasing this one.

I have naturally curly Type 3B curls that are naturally very dry. My curls craves as much moisture as I can possibly give it. This product has a lot of great ingredients in it such as vegetable glycerin, agave nectar, cocoa butter, and hemp seed oil. These are highly moisturizing ingredients that leave my curls feeling soft and smelling great. And, this product works excellent either by itself of underneath Beauty by Donna Marie's MiraCurl Curling Gelly. Even though this product contains loads of moisturizing ingredients, it never leaves my hair greasy or oily. And, the sofness that it provides really does last!
