Perfect leave-in for my fine, normal porosity, 3b curls on dry, low dew, cold midwest winter/fall days!!!

When my hair needs moisture, this leave in works wonders. It smells wonderful too. I don't use it every day because most days I need frizz control, and this doesn't do enough to keep the frizz away.

This is my go-to cowash and leave-in conditioner. It detangles my hair in an instant and leaves it soft and shiny. I love Curl Junkie products. They make it easy for me to find great products products without all the stuff I don't want - silicones and protein (my hair just doesn't like protein, although I know other people really need it) in particular.

I've been really impressed with this. I wanted a basic leave-in without protein or glycerin for the summer, and I'm really glad I decided to try this one. All the products that normal give me mediocre results in terms of frizz control, or that are a bit too drying, somehow work perfectly over this leave-in. My curls are soft and well-defined, and close to frizz-free despite the humidity. I'm hoping this works equally well in the dry winter weather, but for summer, this is definitely HG for me.

This was just so-so when applied with CIAB on top. My hair looks better with CIAB alone than it does with this conditioner underneath. I also tried using beauticurls to refresh some frizzy 2nd day curls, and it looked ok until it dried-- it increased my frizz exponentially. I can't do straight oils on dry hair and maybe the butter/oil content of this is too high for me. But the even bigger problem I had with this product is the smell. It dissipated when applied to wet hair, but lingered for hours on dry hair. It smells like a more cloying V05 Hairdressing. Awful and irritating to my allergies/asthma. Will try a sample of a different CJ conditioner as this brand works for so many people and I do like CIAB.

This is an alright leave-in. My hair is soft and shiny when I use it. Never over moisturized... I do have to use more of it than usual for a leave-in though. I personally do not like the way that this smells, but maybe it will grow on me.

love this conditioning leave in!! it never over conditions my hair, is just the right amount of moisture. enhances my curls, adds volume, leaves my hair soft with lots of body. i use this as a leave in and styler in one. the smell is a little sweet, but it dissipates as my hair dries, no lingering smell.

I really like the smell and feel of this product. It goes on smooth and doesn't take long to absorb. It leaves my hair soft and moisturized. If it were more like $12 for 8oz I'd probably stock up, but since it is a little pricey I use sparingly :)

I am amazed that I haven't needed any stylers when I've used this leave-in. I have perfect, soft to the touch, defined, natural-looking (rather than crispy or fake-shiny) curls all day, despite lacking hold ingredients. It must give my curls exactly what they want so they hang around all day. Great stuff!

I just started using the Curl Junkie line of products and overall they're working really well for me. This leave in conditioner leaves my hair shiny & soft, but not weighed down. The only thing I'm not totally thrilled about with it is that it doesn't seem to do a great job as a detangler. I would definitely buy this product again.

Way too intense a fragrance for me to have on my head long enough to see how it works.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this leave-in. I use before applying Curl Junkie Curl Queen Hair Styling Gel. It has so much slip, helps to detangle my hair easily in the morning. I simply soak my hair, apply the leave in, in sections, apply the gel (I can be a bit heavy handed with the gel and it's still ok), then flip, scrunch, blot with paper towels using the same scrunch method, let air dry, two hours later, flip and fluff my hair for fullness since almost completely dry or dry, and voila BEAUTIFUL FULL AND DEFINED CURLS! As I have said in my review of the gel..."It gives me the look of Mixed Chicks Leave-In but with more conditioner/soft curls, and without the junk chemicals. If you like the way your hair turns out after using Mixed Chicks, try this combination, your hair texture might be like mine and you will fall in love!...I've been doing this for a month and still love the results. I'm a product junkie, tried Miss Jessie, Mixed Chicks, Uncle Funky's Daughter, and many more...this is by far the best results I've ever had! Great conditioner, helps detangle well, the only downside is the size. It needs to come in a larger size, since curly-haired people tend to use conditioner often, it's silly not to have a larger size option. @curly206

i love this leave in conditioner, it smells amazing, its creamy and i can feel it on my hair. I even use it on my dry hair on the ends for mid day fixes. Love it and looking into other products as we speak!

I've used CJ conditioners before and loved them. I've been using some others for a while and was happy to get back to CJ. I was disappointed with this conditioner though. I hate the smell (sickly sweet) and the conditioner doesn't provide the kind of slip I've come to expect.

Awesome leave-in. It leaves my hair moisturized without weighing it down. It helps with frizz and smells great too. I would certainly buy this product again.

I wish it were a bit heavier, but this is super dee duper moisturizing - and has good slip for detangling. I love it paired with a gel.

Great leave-in. Was very happy with the feel of my hair. Was not too heavy for my fine 3A-3B curls. Used a sample pack so I will consider purchasing the full size.

I ended up liking this leave-in conditioner once I figured out what to pair it with and how much to use (a quarter-size amount). If I use a firm-hold gel with it (e.g. Biolage Gelee), I get soft, well-defined, and moisturized curls that last all day. It smells great and is easy to wash out. I'd give it 5 stars if it offered more shine, though. People with very thick, course hair may need something heavier, but fine-haired curlies will find that this won't weigh your hair down.

this product did absolutely nothing for my 4a/b hair...a total waste of money
