Love this stuff! I had a great hair day with this. I used it on wet hair and found it to be very moisturizing. Didn't leave my hair droopy or stringy. The smell was pleasant and I didn't find it to be overpowering. I really liked how this felt on my hair going on. I haven't used this alone yet, but with a gel over the top I had the perfect mix of hold and frizz control. I tried to use this to refresh my hair the next day, but didn't have great luck. I think it may have had something to do with my gel though.

I got some great curls with this alone. They started to initially form into a perfect pattern and then really coiled up when when I diffused. This makes the hair feel conditioned while its wet but then you feel some hold kick in as it dries. The result is a lot of softness and shine, and it really doesn't seem to weigh the hair down. It will be interesting to see how it works as a refresher. However, because of all the butters in it, I am a little concenered about build up and eventual weight so I plan to alternate CIAB which seems to give similar results, and I want to try them in a combo as well. Nice coconut smell, similar to the new Curl Fix.

This hair cream is amazing. Smells great and leaves my hair soft and touchable, and actually holds the curls and my hair hasn't been frizzy. My hair is very thin but with this product and the whole curl junkie line, my hair is looking and feeling thicker than it has in a long time. HIGHLY recommend!

This has proven to be an effective second-day refresher for my hair, at least once I learned to use it. I was using it on dry hair, as instructed, but then after communicating with Marsha - she's a sweetie - I learned that I could also use it on damp hair, and it has performed much better for me. The only thing I don't like about this product is the build-up. I find that I need to clarify my hair more often when using it.

I spent last weekend in the mountains, where the dew point was around 15 degrees. My hair gets flat and stringy without moisture, so I didn't take along any other products with glycerin (and of course no sulfites or silicones). I applied this on dry dried-out hair before an event Saturday night, and my hair seemed renewed. This moisturizes so well, helps define curls, and, best of all, helps keep curls from getting dehydrated. No stickiness or crunchiness and this smells fantastic. I'd used it often in my regular climate (50-60 degree dew points), and it works well, but this is just what I need in arid weather.

I have 3G hair, but my hair is very soft and easily frizzed; my goal is always to find products that so two things 1) give my curls more definition 2) prevent frizz throughout the day. This product does both....nicely! It smells great too. I have used in the shower and Comb through my hair and I have used as a second day product.

Fine, low-medium porosity, mid-back length hair; used this after rinse-out conditioner, no additional styling product. CCCC weighed down my hair- like another reviewer, it turned my curls into waves. I'm also not a fan of the smell. For my length and texture, I need a 'lighter' product with stronger hold- CIAB and CQ gel worked much better for me.

Decided to give up gels and been experimenting with curl creams/lotions. This is the best that I have tried yet. It goes onto my hair easy, defines and provides hold and frizz control. Rinses clean and doesn't dry my hair out. It also has a pleasant fragrance. Most of all, I am glad to find an all in one product. No leave in or additional moisturizer is needed. Glad I tried this product.

I totally love this! It made my curls and ringlets bouncy and light and soft. It is my new HG. I can't live without it - going to order it right now! I haven't tried it in high dews but it is so much better than what I have been using (gels) and it is cg (I'm modified but I prefer to go cg when I can). Try it - it's fabulous! I can't wait to try other Curl Junkie products now.

This was fantastic to refresh my curls. Very moisturizing but did not destroy curl formation at all. It was light enough to use just a little bit midday and powerful enough to really get my curls back in shape. Eliminated frizzy ends and really made my curls happy!

Never got this to work for me. It refreshed my 2nd day curls ok once when I used it with CIAB, but after an hour or so my hair frizzed and had no definition. Once I used it with gel and had nice hair, but never could replicate the effect. Every other time I used this my hair looked dry and frizzy and ugly. For the 2 times I had nice hair, I give this 2 curls. But its way too expensive for what it is. I really wanted to like it, too, because everyone on here loves the CJ products so much. I was really bummed it didn't work for me. I have 3b hair but its really dry and coarse and porous, so maybe I need to try the CCCC and not the lite.

This stuff is amazing! It's very moisturizing and I skip my LI when I use it. It has worked very well for me this summer despite the fact I'm protein-sensitive.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product. It is not too heavy, holds and forms my curls beautifully! I alternate this with CIAB. Definitely part of my HG.

This wasn't moisturizing enough for me when I used it on wet hair, but its wonderful for refreshing 2nd day hair and for taming frizzies.

LOVE this. I tried the regular coco curl creme and this worked so much better for me. I have almost no frizz and soft,bouncy hair.

Love this product! I have 3abc lol curls and this was very moisturizing, did not weigh my hair down and helped a ton with frizz. It didn't give me the tightest curls but I still love how health and shiny it makes my hair look. I used it alone, but next time I may put just a little bit of gel over it for more hold.

This is a review of the CCCC lite used alone, after a co-wash and rinse-out conditioner. It smells and feels amazing first of all! As it goes into the hair you can feel it moisturizing and softening it. After air-drying, I got extremely soft waves - not curls (it actually turned my curls into waves). So in the end, it gets plus points for soft, moisturized, natural-looking medieval waves, but minus points for no hold (I can see why people put a gel over this). Since I hope to find an all-in-one styler, I'll keep looking.

I love this stuff. It's perfect because I have 2c hair that gets weighed down very very easily, so I don't like to use too much product. This takes place of a leave in and curl cream, and does a great job of defining curls. I'm not sure that it provides much hold, I've used Mop Top anti frizz gel over it every time. It's very moisturizing, my hair feels so soft. I was afraid of the coffee coca scent, I don't really like either of those smells, but it was such a light smell that didn't hang around.

Very happy with this product. Worked great with Curls in A Bottle. Not sure I like the idea of the PEG-8 Dimethicone in it though.

FANTASTIC! This has to be the best curl cream I've ever used. It's a perfect combination of moisture/hold/curl enhancement. It works well with Curls in a Bottle for added hold.
