I was debating in buying this product for a while and I caved! I actually have combo type hair (3c, 4a and 4b). I applied the mask and left on overnight. Rinsed the next day, shampooed (sulfate & cone-free) and followed with my dc (30 minutes). My hair is so smooth and silky! It really rivals any salon treatment service. I gave it a 4 simply because of price. I do believe it's worth it, but I only get two uses per jar and would like to apply every 2 weeks instead of once every 3 weeks. An 8 oz size would be ideal. Luckily, I purchase from a local healthfood store!

Okay, I've had this product for about 5 or so months and have used it about 3-4 times on my hair. The first two times I left it on dry hair for 15 minutes as directed, but it didn't do anything for me when I rinsed it out. Then the third time I used it (a few weeks ago), I decided to leave it in for 3-4 hours, and that was when I felt results. My hair felt soft and moisturized, which is good. So now to the reason why I gave this a 3: -1 because the price is WAY too high for a 4oz jar, especially when you can buy it's equivalent (the GPB Protein Balancing Conditioner) for WAY less for 11oz and 16oz. Plus, the GPB is way way better than this stuff that takes forever to show any results. -1 because of the smell. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. I can't really describe it, like it as a strong sweet scent that my nose cannot handle. -1 because I thought it would actually strengthen my hair but nothing really changed. Again, the GPB conditioner is way better than this and actually does strengthen my hair and moisturize too. Would I recommend this product to a friend? Only if they're trying to make an AO collection. Otherwise, use your money on the GPB conditioner--I HIGHLY recommend it! It's AO's best conditioner! :)

This is an outstanding product for porous, dry hair! I followed the directions and my hair came out moisturized and silky. So why only 4 curls? There wasn't enough to cover my hair! If this product came in an 8 or 10 ounce size, the rating would be 5 curls easily. So if you have voluminous hair like I do, you'll need two jars of this product.

I am honored to be the first to review this product. I seriously took a chance, spending $11.46 (sale price at Aubrey-OrganicsDOTcom) purchasing this tiny, 4oz container for the price it is offered at. It is difficult to give into something you know very little about and I was as hesitant as several others might have been about this product. I have a 3c type curl pattern. I initially wasn't certain how I would use this product because it was very easy to waste considering the size of this Conditioning Mask. I eventually decided to apply it all over my hair overnight. In the morning, I added a bit more sparingly and allowed it to sit for a little while longer. During the time that the protein mask sat in my hair, the fibers of my hair strands felt stronger. the reason I looked into this product is because I noticed several stray hairs at the crown of my head and several strands at the crown with air pocket bubbles. I believe that this was a direct result from the diffuser. I lead an organic haircare regimen and I did not want to invest in protein treatments that almost always contained ingredients that I couldn't pronounce, including silicones, which wouldn't be idea for me since I don't wash my hair with sulfates. While purchasing this product was a risk, because there are very little reviews and YT videos in reference to this, I purchased it anyway-shortly thereafter making a YT video of my 2-day process along with it. My experience was as follows: Amazing! As soon as I begun rinsing this product off my hair, it was silky smooth. I lead a very healthy haircare regimen, but this was amazing. The AO Honeysuckle Rose condish is my staple, but this conditioning mask was moisturizing, PH balanced, softening, a hair strengthener, and so much more.
