This is just okay. I like the oils it contains, but I haven't seen any improvement in my hair from using it.

I like this oil but it reminds me of the dr miracle oil. Same smell and minty tingly feeling but who wants to walk around smelling like a menthol cough drop. If used I think it's best as a hot oil treatment prior to a shampooing.

I like the product and how it makes my hair feel and look (shiny and soft). I just wish the smell wasn't so strong.

Right now, just 3 stars. It tingled nicely during my first use, but it hasn't tingled since then. I use it as a pre-poo, but I'm noticing that the smell lingers even after shampooing so I have to wash/condition well. Hubby detests the smell. It's not terrible to me, but I wouldn't want to walk around smelling like it all day long. It is very greasy, so I wouldn't recommend using as a regular hair oil.

THIS IS TO BE USED AS A HOT OIL TREATMENT, NOT A LEAVE-IN OIL!!! just thought i'd post this for anyone else who thinks they want to purchase. i don't know what it is about this stuff but when i use it before a shampoo i ALWAYS get a lather on the first wash, for ALL my shampoos, which seldom happens. so far it makes my hair soft when i use it on damp hair. don't know how well it works with growth, i'll have to make another review in several months for that. but so far it seems like an ok product.

I'm sorta in between with this product. I don't like the tinging...and I don't like the smell. I used it to seal Shea Moisture's Curl Enhancing Smoothie but it left my hair looking white until it dried. I used it as a hot oil treatment today... and meh... it's just not as good as plain olive oil or coconut oil. And at this price it just shouldn't be ok.

I love this product I use it as a hot oil before a clarifying shampoo. My hair has finally reach my waist again. This has been a staple in my hair care for about 6 years now.

I have 3c with patches of 4a hair. This product is way too greasy to be used as a daily moisturizer, so I mixed it with water in my spray bottle. As a part of my daily spritz mixture, I love, love, love this product. The dilution takes away some of the smell and the greasiness while still providing the shine my hair needs.

I love this! I massage it on my scalp and rub about a quarter size amount into my hair (my hair is past the middle of my back) before I shampoo and then rub a little more onto my scalp before I wash out my conditioner and a little on the ends after my hair is dry. It keeps my scalp very moisturized and my hair feeling soft. And my hair has been growing like a weed. I doubt I'll use it as a hot oil cuz I have a LOT of hair I'd prob use half the bottle lol. But its great stuff

Correcting my last review not for DAILY moisturizing. I use it strictly when I wash my hair and it definitely stimulates growth and keeps my scalp moisturized. Ur hair will also feel soft and moisturized doing the way i explained but keep in my mind my hair is to the middle of my back when curly and a bit longer when straight so estimate the amount according to ur length!

I love this product! I have a combo of hair types 3c and 4a, I like to call it 3D, right smacked in the middle. I use this right before I shampoo my hair. I wet my hair thoroughly, then I apply a quarter size amount to my hair (which is down to my bra strap when stretched) and rub it into my hair and scalp. It feels very refreshing and adds lots of moisture and softness to my hair. The scent is intense and has a cooling feeling but sometimes the frangrance can bring tears to your eyes because it's strong, so beware of that. Then I shampoo, rinse, and apply my leave in conditoner and style. It's amazing, and I would buy this product again, it's worth the money!

For those ladies who say this product is greasy, you're applying the product wrong. it's not a hair moisturizer, it's a scalp stimulator. you apply it to scalp directly, or fingertips and you massage the scalp. this is done before you shampoo. to ensure there is no oily residue, apply elixir to scalp only and use your regular pre-poo on the shaft and ends of hair. the elixir really does speed up the growth cycle, but you have to apply right:).

This is NOT for moisturizing ur hair at all. The bottle is really leaky u cant travel anywhere with it it will leak everywhere thats why i gave it 4 curls instead of 5 but what i did was get one of those little spray bottles from walmart the empty one and poured it in there. I usually use it when im straightening my hair and i find the best way to use it is put about a quarter sized amount in ur hair before u shampoo or co wash and like a nickel sized after ur conditioner and if u get the little spray bottle, spray a few spots on ur scalp on different places on ur head and massage it in after u condition (that u can do even when u leave ur hair natural). Ur scalp will feel moisturized, ur hair will feel soft and the tingle feels verrrryyyy nice

This product did nothing for my hair.It made my hair very oily and the next day it was very dry.I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

When I was getting my hair relaxed I used this because I wanted something for my scalp. I had no idea how much it would make my scalp itch, but my hair grew like wildfire. I was amazed. This product is not meant to moisturize your hair!

I love this oil...I love the smell and how it feels on my scalp when I give myself a deep conditioning.

Very strong in smell and that's not a good thing. Smells peperminty I guess you can say. I used it in my hair only a few times, very heavy, oily and makes your scalp tingle. I'm not a fan. I gave it away to my sister hopefully she gets better use of it than I did. A waste of money. Not sure if I would recommend this even if they were GIVING it away.

i first used this product when i had kinky twists in my hair. i used it a night night and in the morning to oil my scalp. i now use it mixed wit "cd" black vanilla leave in conditioner hair ...i spray hair with it 2-3times a day..overall i like this product

This product was a part of the the "Best Tressed Hair Set" from Carols Daughter. Not sure what this product was supposed to do but it was just GREASY. It did not provide any moisture for my natural hair.
