I like this product. I have done twist outs with it and used it to give my hair some shine. It's not really a holy grail product for me since it really doesn't do much for styling or treatment. It has a nice smell and is a good replacement for hair grease.

I have 4a hair and this product works great to seal in moisture! Its great on damp or dry hair. It makes my hair feel very soft and more manageable. I will definitely be using this as a staple product!

great moisturizer when my hair is natural or flat ironed. it smells wonderful and is at a great reasonable price. its not overly oily and it actually keeps my hair moisturized for the entire day. I only have to use it once every week because i only wash my hair once a week.

Really good balm, but I think the protein was too much for me to use that often. It did help keep moisture in, but my hair started to feel wiry after a while. I might just use it sparingly

i use this on my hair everyday in winter to seal in moisture. i much prefer this to a pomade or oil, and i like the fact that it's fairly heavy. i also think the price is reasonable for the amount of product you get. however i don't like the smell! it's a bit too strong for me, but since the smell fades over time it gets 5 stars!

Great for flat ironed natural styles because it's water free so it's a staple for me when I pincurl my flat ironed hair.

LOVE this product! Very moisturizing and has a very strong scent. A little goes a long way because if you use too much it will weigh down your hair making it feel greasy. But overall a wonderful product that helps to smooth frizzies and add shine :-)

I bought this because I have a hard time finding a hair product that works well on dry hair; most of my leave-ins and products need to be applied to wet/damp hair. This was not the product for me. The texture is hard to distribute, no matter how much I try to emulsify it in my hands first, and I always notice little white flakes of product buildup later in the day whenever I apply this to my hair (which is obviously a big NO). It's not worth the trouble for me, because my hair always feels sticky and dry after application anyway. As a positive, the smell was very nice, so if it works for your hair, you shouldn't have to worry about an overpowering or unpleasant aroma. Sadly, it didn't work for me.

I absolutely love this balm. The smell is awesome and a little product goes a long way. I use this product when taking out twists or whenever i decide to straighten my natural hair and this adds sheen. Definitely a staple for me because I can't bear the smell of olive oil.

I have read some of the reviews and I'm thinking that maybe I have a reformulated batch of the balm. I LOVE IT!! A little goes a long way. I don't think people paid attention to the fact that the description tells you that it is very concentrated - that means not watered down and not very light. I put about a nickle sized amount in my palm and use it for my hair which is thick and mid-back. My hair stays moist and shiny, it isn't heavy and I don't feel greasy because I don't over do it. I like the smell too. I also use it for my son's hair and it has worked wonders. It makes his hair so much softer and easier to care for, especially when braiding.

Great sealer! I use it after KK Knot today and before using CD Hair Milk to twist my hair. I also use at night as needed on my ends when I retwist my hair for the next day. I just wish it came in a bigger size for the price.

I'm in love! This product is a must on the days I wear my hair down. I apply a pea sized amount(literally I'm not using and analogys or anything!) to damp hair at the end of my rutine, which consists of leave in with KCKT, follwed by an oil for sealing, and hair stying product(I switch around my products all the time). I rub it into my hands to make sure that it's nice and almost "melted" in a way, basically just to make life easier to put it in my hair evenly. I scrunch scrunch scrunch the balm in and let the rest of my hair air dry after a quick spritz of water. At first, I didn't really notice a difference, but as the day went on, my hair stayed shiny, super super defined(more defined than anytime ever!), and extremely soft! I had absolutely no greasiness, just beautiful curls that lasted even through a whole night of non-stop vigorous dancing with my friends! RECOMMENDED!

Felt greasy and heavy, not to mention the fragrance is a bit strong. I only use it to tame curly fly-away hairs when picking up my hair. Theres no way i could use this on all my curls. overall very dissapointed.

I like this stuff! It reminds me of Natty without the mineral oil and that jazz. It's a good sealer on wet hair after you apply leave in conditioner!!!

I really enjoy this product! I use it when I have a twistout and when my hair is straightened (3c, 4a.) I just use a tiny amount and it really smoothes away the frizz and dryness I get during the day. I absolutely love the smell! It reminds me of honey or honeysuckle maybe. My bottle has lasted me since last summer and I will continue to purchase it.

I was really surprised by the other reviews. This didn't seem thick to me at all (I often use olive oil and coconut oil moisturizers this is a little bit lighter than those). When I first saw the size of the bottle I felt a little cheated. I have extremely thick hair, and it's not a cheap product for the amount. But I was surprised to find this is a great end-sealing type moisturizer and a little goes a long way. This works great to keep the end of my curls moisturized in any style. - I have VERY thick 4a hair that I always wear curly. I think some of the other reviews may have used too much, and I'm not sure I would use this on relaxed or straighten hair. Great for the curls though.

I use this product to revive my two strand twists and twist outs. It does do well to moisturize and control frizz, but I only use a little every couple of days, as it will leave your hair greasy if you use too much or too frequently. I definitely like it more during the winter though. Just a personal preference for lighter products in the summer.

I loved this product now and I used it when I was relaxed as well. It smells nice and It makes my hair so shiny. You have to remember to only use a pea-sized amount though or you will end up greasy.

This product is great in my opinion, but it depends on how you use the product. You have to use it in moderation for example just about everyone 2-3 days. It is perfect for straightening hair, it keeps it very shiny and full of body

This is amazing for control and shine. It smells wonderully; people can pin point that I have coconut oil in my hair and I explain how it's a mixture. If it's too thick for you, transfer it to a heat safe bottle and melt it down, but I use as is. A little goes a long way. Oh and it's great for smoothing your edges.

I use this only with Aveda Smooth Infusion line when I get a blow out. I keeps my hair shiny and straight and assist with flat iron touch ups allowing my blow out to last about a week.

Its okay. It moistured my hair, it kept it shiny, but it was very thick. I will still use this just in moderation.

Horrible smelling and very heavy.

I personally hated it. It's very thick and smelly. Even a dime size leaves the hair very heavy and greasy feeling. The scent is very unpleasant, not at all what I thought it would be.

NOT a fan..This product is thick, grainy to the touch and STINKS. I used this product and it left my hair feeling heavy (back when I would wear it straight) SUre it added shine but I didnt want my hair to touch my skin. The smell is HORRID I cant stress that enough. When I used this my boyfriend would not even let me lay my head on his shoulder and you dont have to be close to anyone for them to smell it.
