To me this butter cream is too oily. I prefer As I Am Butter cream much better. No matter how much of the Burdock a Room butter cream I use I always have greasy hands. Plus the As I Am is a much better styling cream than the Burdock Root butter cream. I don't think I will purchase anymore of this product.
My natural curly-coily hair needs light products or else it feels incredibly greasy, wet, and weighed down. This product is so light that it's wonderful. I do not get the weighed down feeling at all. I highly recommend it as it kept my hair moisturized for a good number of days before reapplication. The expense is worth it.
This product does leave my hair super soft, but it's too light for my hair so I feel like I have to use alot. It's not thick enough for me to do a twist out with. I mainly use it as a moisturizer. Gonna try the amla & olive heavy cream.
This is a staple for me for hydrating on wet or dry second day hair. A pea-size amount mixed with Devacurl Set it Free gives some moisture to 2nd hair dry hair. A 1/4 to 1/2 tbs scrunched-smoothed in over my leave in adds a nice layer of moisture protection. Qhemet Products are pretty wonderful.
Pretty darn good for a butter! I really like the consistency and this can be used everyday to touch up or as a moisturizer. I used it in conjunction with a leave in (giovanni) or a light gel (ecostyler). Not heavy and my hair did not feel greasy. Good for use on wet, damp or dry hair.
This is my go to summer moisturizer. It's lighter than the Alma and Olive Heavy Cream and marketed to finer haired ladies. I have very thick, coarse strands and while it's not heavy enough for me in the winter, I find that in the summer when I can use lighter products this is perfect! I use this along with the honey bush tea gel and my puffs, twists, twist outs...heck just about every style I've used it with are soft and full of moisture. Also, it works great as a scalp moisturizer. In the winter when my scalp gets a bit dry, applying this soothes it without being too heavy.
Before I tried this, I used the AOHC, which leaves a slight greasy feel, but still moisturizing. However, this one is the opposite. No greasy feel and soft hair, but not as soft as I would've imagined. Still a great buy with natural super strong ingredients.
I love this as a moisturizer. Works well on my fine-medium 4a hair. I look forward to trying the alma and heavy cream as my hair grows and needs more moisture.
Awesome moisturizer, even with the glycerin! Makes my hair butter soft and gets to my ends. And the ingredients are awesome.
I absolutely love this as a moisturizer for my 4a/3c (fine) hair; it's my favorite QB product by far. I use it on wet hair with KCKT and KCCC and get amazing, defined and well moisturized curls. I've also used this on twistouts that turned out so soft and beautiful. This product does not provide hold (or high sheen) so it should be paired with another product that does offer hold or a light gel. The scent is very light/faint which is great as this cream will not clash with other products. One jar will last me about 3 months or so. My hair is 3-4 inches past my shoulders and I use this cream about twice a week. It's well worth the cost IMO.
