I love these!! I was so tired of using hair bands that would hurt my scalp from pulling on my hair. These do not hurt at all! And it look so much better compared to when I would put my hair up with a regular band. :D

These are so useful! I don't even need an elastic when I use these, my hair is secure and you can make really romantic looks that stay in place. I will be getting more soon so I can make more looks. I am addicted!

I have a FULL head of 3b curly hair and expected some setbacks but hoped otherwise thanks to a review about these products working best for curly hair instead of straight fine hair. After using them, my hope disappeared once my expectations were exceeded. The Spin Pins work best for my hair but 2 pins simply aren't enough! I'm alright with a messy bun if it looks relaxed but when it seems like you've been in the wilderness for 2 weeks and haven't had time to fix your hair between bear fights it's too messy for me; sadly, that is exactly what I ended up with when using 2 Spin Pins. It may be because I have some layers in my "just above bra strap" hair, but I have to aid them with other pins to get a decent look. I would purchase another pair or 2 if they weren't so expensive! Overall, I give this 2§ because though I wouldn't reccommend to anyone with lots of 3b curly hair, maybe someone with less hair or a different type (wavy or straight) could get better results if willing to risk the amount on the pricetag. Only "value for price paid" would get 5§ from me because I purchased the complete Bundle Pack from Walmart for onl $8.00 +FREE S/H TO HOME, which speaks better of the retailer than the product. I will continue to experiment since I already made the purchase but am definately glad I shopped around and got the cheapest pricetag around!

I have a FULL head of 3b curly hair and expected some setbacks but hoped otherwise thanks to a review about these products working best for curly hair instead of straight fine hair. After using them, my hope dissappeared once my expectations were exceeded. The Modern Updo Maker was VERY hard to get in and pressed even more painfully into my scalp once into position. I got a lovely messy updo that lasted for hours but after a week my scalp is still sore! I figured out ways to get it in a less painful position but it kept falling out; sometimes immediately, others after a couple (2) of hours. Despite Goody's statement, the Pony Pouf Clip doesn't take all of my hair to make a ponytail but this I expected, what I did not expect was that even HALF of my hair is too much for the clip! It was such a hassle that I gave up and I still haven't been able to get it on though my hair had been stretched out in a bun for days so it was not curly (not curly means less volume so should've fit better). At crown position, the Volume Boost Comb made such a minimal difference that it went unnoticed; I tried closer to the front of my head but had the same problem. I finally obtained SLIGHTLY noticeable volume with a small amount of hair in front, the problem then was hiding the comb! Again, I simply decided to do without. Only "value for price paid" would get 5§ from me, which speaks better of the retailer than the product. I will continue to experiment since I already made the purchase but am DEFINATELY glad it was from Walmart for only $8.00 +FREE S/H TO HOME instead of $19.97 or more +S/H elsewhere. On the second use of each, the Updo Maker's round tips turned from dark brown to cream as the coating rubbed away and one of the Spin Pins widened at the bottom making the "next curl in the pattern" smaller than the rest so I can't boast of their quality though nothing has broken yet. Overall, I give this 2§ because though I wouldn't reccommend to anyone with lots of 3b curly hair, maybe someone with less hair or a different type (wavy or straight) could get better results if willing to risk the amount on the pricetag.

Love these! No longer do I have to wear a ponytail to work when my curls aren't behaving. They're so easy to use: after putting my hair in a bun (either tight or loose depending on the style I want) I put one pin in close to the loose end and near my scalp. Then I put the other in 90 degrees from the 1st pin (making an X) further away from my scalp. They typically hold all day!

I have collar length hair in the back and shorter on the sides.... I use these to keep my twist on hairpieces in place and they are AWESOME!!!!! Often I want my hair up and it is quite a tiny pony... but I do not want a jaw clip or combs and the twists did not stay in befor these gems. two cross ways and TA DA!!!!

I actually like these more than the Updo maker! Easy, they stay put - and hold all my hair. Nothing holds all my hair! And they come out super easy. Love love love these! Can also use them to make a smaller bun, letting the rest of your hair hang down......

I wish they came with instructions because I can't figure out how to use them. They just fall out of my hair, but maybe it's too thin and fine.

OMG! I am in LOVE! These are the best new hair product out there. They make my life so much easier. I used to wear my hair in a ponytail everyday, boring! Now I try all kinds of new looks with the spin pins. My favorite is the messy bun. It's great for work and going out- so many options. I even wear them to the gym. I would recommend this product to everyone! AMAZING PRODUCT a MUST have in anyone accessory collection.

Just got these. Holds my past shoulder length thick 3a well AND if I take my hair down it is not all smooshed and weird and I can still wear it down. They are comfy too.

These are great! At first I thought I'd need more than two, but they are more than enough. You can't see them at all and they hold in the bun and hair very well without pulling at your scalp. They are surprisingly tangle free to get out as well!

These are a Godsend! I have never been able to do updoes because of how much hair I have - bobbypins don't hold and give me a headache after a couple hours. These are a totally weightless way to get a wonderful updo without any effort! My favorite product ever.

These are awesome!! They hold my just at my shoulder length hair in place and it doesn't budge. So easy to put in and take out not a tangle or snag in sight. I would buy these over and over again.
