my hair was too cottony so I used this product after washing with shea moisture raw shea shampoo and Qhemet cleansing tea. Up to that point, my hair remained way too soft. Used this as directed then followed with SS decadent DC--hair was still super hard, so then used Qhemet cocoa detangler, Shea moisture masque, as additional DC to soften. Finished with Qhemet burdock root buttercreme and overnight app of Amla crème just to get my hair into a softer, combable state, washed it out next morning---used cocoa detangler again and finished with Cantu mayo*, and Qhemet burdock root buttercreme. Finally using the Qhemet for twist outs--my hair was shiny, soft (but not cottony) springy, and luscious. That was a lot of products and steps later. I should have used henna instead of this serum as I had no breakage. My go to hair food for new growth and braid feeder: 1 8oz jar cantu shea butter leave in, 4 oz of Jamaican Black Castor oil, 1 oz 100% argon oil, 1 oz of Avocado oil, 2 oz jojoba oil, 2 oz sweet olive oil. blend all, use as needed on braids, scalp, new growth or whenever edges or scalp needs refreshing. relatively light but gives great moisture and comfort to curly heads--growth promoter too.

This product gave my hair the strength that it needed without leaving it "stick hard" like some other PT's. I could easily tell the difference before and after the treatment. Goes on smoothly and covers all the strands without much effort.

This product is excellent. Makes my hair super defined and bouncy. I just hope they don't change it and mess it up.

This stuff is as good as everyone says! I'm a fine 3B curly, and using this, followed by the Deeply Decadent (both under the thermal hair wrap), I got three days of shiny, well-defined, bouncy curls. Couldn't recommend it more! And it smells great, too.

Fantastic! I'm 3C/4A and this treatment (with the Deep Conditioner afterwards) makes my hair soft, bouncy and really redefines my curls. This is a keeper.

My hair is a combination of 3B/3C, cut in a short curly bob. The first time I used this product, it did nothing for my hair, but that was when it was long and down my back, without a proper haircut from someone that knows curly hair. Fast forward to now: I have been using AG Recoil, and it has made my hair go limp and lose it's bounce, I did a protein treatment and voila! My curls sprung back to life. You definitely do need to do a seriously deep conditioning treatment afterwards though, it sort of dries your hair out. I did *not* like the Spiral Solutions deep condish though, I prefer the one by Deva!

I love this product! It has made a very big difference in the health of my fine, medium/low porosity, medium density 4b hair. Less shedding and my hair is receiving the moisture I have putting in it a lot better than before I used the product. I will be making this a staple in my regimen.

I just tried this today and this product is amazing. I was nervous about trying it out at first because I didn't see any 4a reviews. If you want a protein treatment that is not as strong as aphogee then you should try this. It made my hair stronger and brought life to my curls. Though it does not harden the hair, you might want to use a moisturizing conditioner afterwards because you might get a little tangled due to the protein. The only thing I would change is the price. I think it's a bit pricey especially with the shipping but otherwise its a great product.

The first time I used this it was just okay, nothing spectacular, but the second time, WOW! My hair was soft and bouncy and I got a lot of compliments that day at work. This will now be in my weekly rotation.

Left my hair frizz free and my curls looked really nice after just leaving it in my hair for about 5 minutes.

I really like the way my hair looks after I use this. I have only used Caitlin's conditioner with it, but now have the Decadent conditioner and will see how it looks with that. So far I have loved all of these products. I have finally found something great for my fine, blonde, highlighted, frizzy hair.

wow!!! that was the best treatment for my till now flat and limp and lifeless curls! my hair is baby fine and this protein treatment made it feel and look healthy and full of body. my curls bounced right back. no stiff feeling or straw like. Followed by the deep conditioning treatment, my hair is now super wow. thank you so much!

I let this treatment sit on my damp hair for about 15 minutes, then rinsed and used a good conditioner. It made my fine hair feel much thicker and moister all day, with maybe just a little extra tangling. Smells yummy. I'm interested to see what this can do for my hair if I use it regularly every few weeks or so.

Used this last night. Left it in for 45 minutes (my hair loves protein), rinsed and followed with Spiral Solutions Deeply Decadent. At the end of the next day, after wind, playing with my hair, napping, I still have strong shiny curls with no frizz. Will definitely keep this in my curl arsenal!

I love this! I first used this when I experienced some breakage from a permanent hair color. It stopped the breakage with one use and my hair actually felt great. It's a strong treatment but it doesn't make your hair feel hard. Sometimes I do a DT afterwards and other times just a good moisturizing condish and I'm good to go. I like to use this once or twice per month...it's a HG for me!

I think this might be the star of the Spiral Solutions line. This is a fantastic protein treatment, hard enough for serious repair, but gentle enough to be used as a rinse-out if you don't leave it in too long. It distributes fairly easily, and if you're not in such dire need of protein that it's all gone the moment it hits your hair, even detangles a little. My super-porous, very fine hair drinks this stuff up, perhaps a little too quickly!

This didn't feel moisturizing at all (so it needs to be followed with moisture) but did help my frayed ends frizz significantly.

I had a Brazilian hair straightening (Keratin Hair Treatment) done 8 weeks ago. Sadly, I started to see my curl and texture coming back about 2 weeks ago. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed having easy to blow-out hair that dried straight with a rough dry and didn’t tangle. This stuff rules my world! I use it once or twice a week to calm my frizz. It has been my summer staple! The hot and humid Memphis weather is torture on my curls. I cannot live without this stuff. I follow with Deeply Decadent Conditioner, and voila.... beautiful, frizz free curls!
