This was OK but not great, again I have a lot of hair but its fine. This encouraged my curls but my hair had the wet look all day which was strange and it weighed down my top layer of hair overall not impressed.

My 3 year old daughter has dry, tight curls (if you ever check out the "Naturally Curly" website, her hair type is considered 3b). I am a long-time Aveda lover, and I use Aveda products religiously for myself. So I tried Aveda's BeCurly line on my daughter's hair, and it would stay moisturized for about half the day, but then it would get dry again. So I decided to try the Carol's Daughter Hair Milk shampoo and the lite curl booster. It works miracles! My daughter's hair stays moisturized without looking or feeling greasy. In the past, all of the other products I tried on her hair (besides this one and the Aveda) left her hair too greasy, and I didn't like that at all. This product makes her hair feel soft, it holds her natural curls, it doesn't weigh her hair down, and I am SO glad I purchased it. Will definitely continue to use this on her hair!

This product is ok. It does a decent job of conditioning and making my curls manageable, but I get much better results with Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Hold Smoothie; not to mention, THE PRICE!!! The 10 oz. container of CD Hail Milk is twenty freakin' dollars!!!! Shea Moisture costs ten dollars for a 12 oz. container, and you don't have to use as much product for it to be effective. Also, I'm not in love with the smell. I'd rather not have my hair smell like household cleaning products.

Nope! Too greasy and the scent is way too strong. Even a little bit left my hair crazy oily. What makes me angriest is that it wasn't cheap.

Don't know if it is the silicones, but my hair does not like this product. It made my hair feel greasy and the curls were just stringy. Maybe i have not figured out how to use this one but won't be buying again.

i love love love the way this product smells it is the best but pretty much all carols daughter products smell great, i thought it moisturized well but just be careful not to use to much or it can get greasy even though it is the lighter version, this is the second time i am buying this i started with the small one for 9 dollars to try and see if i like it which i would recommend if you are unsure i would say any curl type could use this just don't use as much if you have thinner looser curls

this product was creamy and the smell wasn't overpowering (not into lemon scents unless it's a cleaner but this smell wasn't bad). i spritzed my hair with water and combed it out, then used a dab and rubbed it in my hands and smoothed it all over my hair, concentrating on the ends. after my hair dried i was expecting a big mess in the back but i was pleasantly surprised to see curls instead! this product really defined my curls (not individual ones, just the big ringlets) and made my hair look like hair instead of a knotted mess. it wasn't greasy at all and made my hair feel soft and look shiny and healthy. i'm already recommending it to everyone i know who wants soft curls. i can't stop feeling my hair!

I'm 2c and I really wanted to like this product. The person at Sephora raved about it, but it was way too much for my hair texture. I used a very small amount and it just made my hair heavy and greasy. This product is best for someone with more robust curls than mine.

Ima have to give this a no-go on this product. I will say that it holds curls, but it leaves my hair greasy and weighed down. I've had better outcomes with other products.

I'm transitioning from relaxed to natural. I use this product on both textures and it's been good so far. When applied to my damp hair (after co-washing), my hair isn't frizzy. Also, this product serves as a great leave-in/moisturizer for braid-outs/twist-outs!

I have chemically treated curls (a curl perm), creating a 3a-3b curl pattern in my naturally bushy hair. Hair Milk helps define curls for me, more so than moisturizing. The pattern becomes very visible and soft, especially needed as I only get the curl perm done 3-4 times per year.

I don't use this as a curl definer, just something to refresh my afro bed head when i wake up. I spritz water, rub this in my hands, and pick out my hair. I used the hair milk (old version) to undo twists and it worked perfectly. And this version smells nice, It's actually very creamy, so i can only imagine what the "non" lite version feels like! But it's not heavy at all, doesn't leave white residue, and adds shine to my coils.
