I loveeee this stuff, it gave my curls bounce,0 frizz, and little to know shrinkage. It really defined my hair (3b & 3c). It's between this and the Curl Enhancing Smoothie ( but I kinda like this better lol)

idk why but this stuff did absolutely nothing for my hair. i really wanted to like it because of all the great reviews. but i tried to use it as both a leave-in& a rinse out. && it made my hair feel TERRIBLE. it did NOT detangle. it felt like it was just sitting on top of my hair. it took 3 washes for my hair to feel back to normal. i wouldn't buy this or recommend this to anyone.

I like this a lot as a rinse-out. It left my hair soft, shiny, and frizz-free. After my first use, my hair felt better than it had in ages. My only complaint about this product is that it made me want to keep touching my hair.

Unfortunately this did nothing for my hair. It was not moisturizing enough for me. I returned it and exchanged it for another product of the SheaMoisture line.

This is the only Shea Moisture product that I like and use regularly. I was a bit hesitant to get it at first because of the way the other products from the lines (pink label and green label) have worked out (terribly) but I tried this one because it was on sale. And surprise of all surprises, I really like it. I use this as my rinse out and leave in conditioner, but when I use it as a leave in I also add Argan oil as a sealer. My hair gets very dry and it's extremely fine, so I can't use anything that's too heavy or else my hair will quickly become weighted down and I'll have to start all over from scratch. So I was pleased to discover that this is rather on the light side, and works well when combined with natural Argan oil. I really like the way it smells and I love the pump style. It also seems to do a really good job at keeping my constantly dry locks moisturized. All in all, a good product. I can't say much for the other products from the Shea Moisture line, however. This one and the Deep Treatment Masque (also in the gold label) are really the only two that seem to do anything beneficial for me. It's sad because the entire product line has such wonderful natural ingredients, yet fails to do anything for my hair.

Absolutely love this stuff! It's a little less thick than the deep treatment masque, but it works just as well. It's great for me and my daughter, and as usual, all natural. I'm a little sad because I'm just about out of it at the moment. lol!

I bought this today for the first time from Walgreen's. I am 3b and I knew I would probably be taking this back because of the 'assumed heaviness'. Well, I was wrong!!! I LOVE THIS!!! I washed first with Trader Joe's Tea Tree Shampoo, conditioned with Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship, used the Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque and then I used the Shea Moisture Restorative conditioner as a leave in (flat twisted my hair). My hair feels deeply moisturized and it had great slip from putting on my wet hair. Since today is the first time using, I will probably need to add another review for the results. But, I have a strange feeling I will not be taking this back to Walgreen's anytime soon and it will be my HG!!!

This might be the best conditioner I have ever used! My hair feels fantastic every time I use it and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that I can use it as a traditional conditioner and also as a leave in. It smells delightful, I love the pump packaging, it contains Argan oil AND shea butter, and the entire ingredients list is so solidly stellar that I have no qualms about using it on my young daughters (who are 2 and 4). This is a definite must have for every curly girl!

I have tried this for daily moisturizing on protective styles and as a rinse out conditioner, and a deep conditioner, and loved all three! Sucks as a leave in (after shampooing and conditioning) for me. Of all the Shea Moisture products, I would say that this one has transformed the dryness in my hair and scalp over time. If I had to choose my favorite three products, this would be one of them.

This is a nice product! Not the greatest, but nice slip, leaves my hair feeling nice. I can do a simple rinse-out with this, scrunch in a little of their Hibiscus Curl Creme, and be good to go for a weekend day. Smells terrible, like so many of their brown-label products, but this one doesn't linger.

This product is a great RO conditioner and I also use it as my DC with a little EVOO added for that extra boost. What I really like about this product, is that with continued use I need less and less of it. That let's me know my hair is truly being moisturized and not coated. I'm not a huge "slip" person. I generally apply conditioner, let it sit, and then detangle when ready, but this product does slide through my hair fairly easy. Like with most natural products, I find it works best if you warm it between your hands first and then leave it in your hair for a few minutes. I apply it at the start of my shower and rinse it out at the end. I used to use it as a LI as well, but for my particular hair it's a bit heavy and tacky for that. I prefer the SM Curl & Shine Hair Milk for that. The only thing I would change is that I would love for it to smell like the Coconut & Hibiscus line. It's not a big deal, it doesn't smell terrible, but the Coconut & Hibiscus line smells delicious. I would rather it smell the way it does though than to have them add synthetic fragrance.

I use this as a deep conditioner and it adds amazing moisture to my hair. The only downside is I am not too fond of the smell. I cannot use it as a leave in because it builds up on my scalp. Otherwise, this product is awesome!

The only reason I didn't give it 5 curls was because I don't get as good slip as I do with other conditioners. Otherwise, this is perfect for my fine 3c/4a curls and not too heavy. I use this as a leave in after using the shea mositure coconut hibiscus curl and shine shampoo and then I add Donna Marie's Miracurl Curling Gelly to my soaking wet conditioned hair and get FABULOUS curls for the next 5-6 days!

I am not that impressed with the conditioner as I was with the moisture retention shampoo. The shampoo left my hair feeling softer than the conditioner. To get a positive effect with the conditioner, I had to sit under the dryer for about fifteen minutes to deep condition. Like I said, not impressed, but it works okay. Next time I will use 4 naturals deep conditioner instead (used before and worked great!) and maybe try this one as a leave-in conditioner as someone else mentioned.

A MIRACLE!!!! I tried Miss Jessie's Super Slip Sudsy Shampoo and Creme de la Creme Conditioner and afterward my hair was looked like I had given up on taking care of it YEARS ago (not the business). I tried this line on a whim and Great Heavens to Betsy, this was "The Truth" (as they say). So Moisturized! My hair felt moisturized and was super easy to part and style afterwards! A miracle in a bottle!!!

I love this conditioner because it is a multi-tasker. I have used it as a leave-in and done rinse outs with out. The only thing I haven't done is deep conditioned with it but I'm sure I wouldn't be let done. It is very moisturizing with great slip which makes detangling my hair a breeze and you don't need a lot of product to get the job done. The ingredients are also a plus and the smell is really nice as well. I really like the price and the fact that I can go to any of the millions of Wal-Greens and pick up the bottle. So for me, 5 curls is worth it because of the price, accessibility, ingredients, smell, and the job it performs. Definitely a holy-grail for me.

Love this conditioner, gave my hair some major slip (better then KCKT) and really gave it the moisture it needed. I've only used it as a rinse out conditioner thus far, and I love the way it works. I'm thinking about using it as a co-wash, but what I'll probably do is put some in a separate bottle and dilute it since its not a cheapy conditioner like VO5 or Suave.

This product is very difficult to get it through all of your hair, but does moisturize well. I have solved the problem by mixing a bit of my Kinky-Curly Knot Today in my hand with the conditioner, and it seems to make it easier. I believe that there are probably better products out there. Although this conditioner, when left in for a bit, does make my hair soft and moisturized. So it does do, what it needs to do.

Not sure if my hair just doesn't agree with this product, but I just don't find it that great. It's okay, I guess. There's barely any slip if used as a rinse out, but works a lot better as a leave-in. As far as detangling, it does help a lot with it, just raking my come throughout the hair detangles it pretty easily. One con I found was that it didn't moisturize my hair as much as I was expecting it to. The 3c/3b parts of my hair loves it, but the 4a parts didn't.

I like this conditioner as a leave-in. I haven't used it yet as a rinse out. It does zero detangling for my hair. That's the only downside. I will have to refer to the hair milk to aid in that. I also used it after the shampoo in the same line and the deep treatment mask. Together these products seem to add a lot of moisture. But I think the coconut and hibiscus hair milk will serve me better after deep treatments. This conditioner is very light even though it looks thick in the bottle. I like it and I will definitely continue using shea moisture products.

Hands down my absolute favorite Shea Moisture product. I haven't even bothered using it as a rinse out conditioner because it is hands down my favourite leave-in. I thought this conditioner was pretty good as a rinse-out, but then I tried it as a leave-in on my wet hair and I was thrilled. It really moisturizes without making my fine hair greasy or weighed down. My curls are so full of life now! The scent is a little stronger than I like, but I have gotten used to it. I use this conditioner with the corresponding shea butter shampoo, and my hair looks and feels better than it ever has.

I never used it as a rinse-out conditioner, but as a leave-in, it's PERFECT! I felt it working the moment I applied it to my hair. I use this after I wash my hair. I apply the conditioner and wrap my hair. The next morning, my hair feels soft and easy to touch. This will forever be a staple in my hair regimen!

I love the pump bottle, which is super convenient and it's very light and creamy. I've even used this as a styler for a twist out and my hair turned out fabulous each time. I've used this as a rinse-out but mostly as a leave-in on my 4a/3c and my daughter's 4b hair. It's moisturizing, has nice slip, minimizes frizz, softens, and provides excellent shine, hold and definition when styling. May not be able to use during winter months because of the glycerin w/o a good sealer.

Hi Curlies, OMG-- If you do not own this product.. STOP READING THIS and go purchase it @ Target or Walgreens. You will not be disappointed. I always add some in after using a regular conditioner. I even use it on my dry hair (though I add a little water to my hands to thin it out a bit). You can add it to water in a spray bottle with your favorite oil, to use as a refresher. It is soooo versatile, you can't go wrong with this conditioner. -Samii

I cannot say enough about the goodness of this product. After trying an expensive shampoo that completely stripped my hair and left it practically matted I returned back to Shea Moisture.
