I was in need of a shampoo with benefits for my hair because i'm currently doing a conditioner wash, and using vinegar rinse may be a bit harsh sometimes. I tested a kind of paste shampoo from Lush with the coconut bits inside and immediately hated it because of those silly bits of coco just knotting my hair... So i tried Trichomania and really really loved it, you can feel the bar sliding your hair with coconut, a pleasure. I started doing an oil rinsing with 1 tbs organic coconut oil+1tbs castor oil, just detangle your hair and rinse then conditionner and rinse with cold water, it works wonder to maintain soft, detangle hair
I really like Soak and Float, and New shampoo bars. They long lasting, gym and travel friendly.
Initially purchased for my teenage sons who think any hair product is girly. They love them! I love them! Seanik and Karma Komba have been great with my curly hair. Can't wait to try trichto... based on reviews
Trichomania pairs beautifully with the Coolaulin conditioner, and leaves my hair soft, shiny, and bouncy with curls. It seems to fight frizzies, too. Lush has been my stand-by line for the past few years, and I've never been disappointed. The solid bar of shampoo didn't throw me at all... and it smells delicious!
I am a huge fan of Lush products, but their shampoos are a bit too drying for me, not to mention I don't use sls' anymore.
Depends on the shampoo you're using. Karma Komba works well for detangling but I found that it made my hair a little poufy. However Trichomania is really nice and softening on my curls.
I have many solid shampoos form Lush and I love them all! Seanik and Karma Komba are quite nice to use for deep cleansig. Trichomania, Gentle Lentil, Hybrid, and Soft are all quite gentle and non-drying. Once you get used to the solid shampoos, you wont want to go back to liquid ones. The solid shampoos are *so* economical (I've had one bar for over a year, not bad since it only cost $7) and they are easy to use.
This is a solid shampoo, which took some getting used to. The Trichomania lathers well and has real coconut cream, which made my hair soft. But I think I like liquid shampoos better. They would probably be great for kids.
