AWESOME. Wish I'd started using this years ago. Curly while still feeling clean at the scalp. I have low porosity, medium texture, 3A hair. I used this to shampoo, rinsed out then used V05 Strawberry Moisture Milk conditioner, rinsed out, scrunched most of the water out of my hair, added a LITTLE Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie (too much will weigh hair down), scrunched again, plopped hair into microfiber turban, let it sit for about an hour, then diffused using Pixiecurl method. Hair looks great.

My staple shampoo. When l tell you this stuff is THE BOMB. It's the BOMB I can detangle my hair it left my hai feeling soft from root to tip at the same time feeling clean. Love this it isn't going anywhere

Omg I love this soo much! I had to borrow my brother shampoo one day because I ran out of mine and comes to find out he has this! I washed my hair and I could feel my natural curls curling up! My hair was moisturized and the smell of it was great! I will definitely be buying this for myself!

This is an AMAZING shampoo. It leaves my scalp moisturized and helps get my hair ready for when I detangle with conditoner. It smells ok, but what it does outweighs the smell. It doesn't leave my hair dry after using it, like a sulfate shampoo would. It does not contain any sulfates, parabens, mineral oil, etc. It contains only natural, healthy products!

This is one of my favorite shampoos! It really cleans my scalp and doesn't strip my hair, as shampoos tend to do. It smells great and does a fabulous job of cleansing and softening my hair.

I love that while this Shampoo is silicone and sulfate free it still gives me a great clean and also leave my hair very smooth. I normally don’t detangle during the wash process but with this shampoo I just can’t help not to.

Curls burst out immediately!! There is a nice shine it brings as well. Mine and my daughters hair loves loves loves this shampoo!!

Totally brought out my natural curls and could feel the curls while washing. Lots of slip and just full of moisture. I love it! Will use again.

I don't know. This stuff is just okay for me. I think the problem is that I have very long, thick hair, plus I sweat from working out several times a week, and I use a silicone leave-in. I have to use quite a lot just to get a decent lather and to feel clean enough. For $10 a bottle, I can't afford to go through it so fast. I suppose if your hair is shorter, you don't sweat much or use any 'cones, this poo is would be nice.

this line of shea moisture does not have a conditioner...and the reason behind that is due to the fact that this shampoo is a poo and conditioner all in one...IT LATHERS, SPREADS, AND PORTRAYS THE idea of actually washing ur hair with a sulfate-shampoo..but it has none of the ill effects...it moisturizes ur hair while cleansing it..i finger comb my hair while washing with this...and my fingers just glide thru..IT IS A STAPLE PRODUCT..if they every stop making this..i will buy the last 100 boxes..

I really like this shampoo and I didnt realize how much I liked it until recently. I have been using this shampoo for about 3 - 4 months now (on the same bottle btw) so it lasts. The smell is heavenly and I would say its a "low poo" lather, which when you've been using a sulfate shampoo all your life takes a while to get use too. This shampoo leaves my hair pretty soft and manageable. Its not like OMG conditioner soft but its easily detangled with this shampoo and feels light and manageable. I actually used a sulfate shampoo last week before my DT to clarify my hair (I had flakes) and OMG NEVER AGAIN my hair felt like straw even after my DT I was POed to say the least I WILL NEVER LET ANOTHER SULFATE SHAMPOO TOUCH MY CURLS AGAIN! So yes this shampoo works nicely for my 3a curls & for my daughters 3c/4a curls so I will purchase again and recommend until I find something better.

I have no idea how this detangles my hair but I love it. My hair always feels nice after I use it. This is a great shampoo I recommend it to everyone I that's natural or transitioning (i think the gold label would be better for relaxed hair) but this and the rest of the line are my HG.

I love this shampoo and this line .. I have 3A hair and it makes my hair so soft and my curls are so alive.. I buy this at Target or Walgreen. I also love the hair milk and smoothies.. This brand is a keeper for me.

Hands down the best shampoo I have ever used! My hair feels soft immediately and it allows me to start the detangling process.

My first CG friendly shampoo i tried & i love it!! i def noticed a difference in my hair the first time i used it.It worked so well to moisturize & detangle i didn't need a seperate conditioner, but i used one anyways :) the coconut curling milk,which i also love...it says u can use it as a leave in but i feel its too heavy for my hair so i leave it in for 10 min then rinse out. Love both of these products!!!

Love the smell, love the fact that I can kind of detangle with the shampoo. I alternate between this and the tea tree oil from trader joes.

Most moisturizing shampoo I have ever had and I will never buy another brand. Lasts me forever you only actually need about a quarter size amount and it lathers right up. Awesome stuff for a great price. Doesn't create a lot of frizz and really defines my curls

One of the BEST shampoos I've ever used!! A little go a long way, it lathers well and my curls were detangled before I even put the conditioner in! I like using this with the Organic Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner (as a leave-in conditioner). The scent is great and not overpowering and the price is right considering this will last a while since you don't need much (I have should length medium thick and fine 3c/4a hair).

This is one of the best shampoos out there, imo. It doesnt dry your hair out and cleans the scalp well. The only reason I do not use it all the time is I have found I need a shampoo that lathers easier as my hair is so thick, but other than that I would use this product all the time.

My hair feels great with this shampoo. I can even detangle while this is in my hair. When I prepoo with the curl enhancing smoothie and then apply this shampoo my hair is very moisturized yet still feels like it has been cleaned very well. Hair type - 4a, fine, low porosity.

This is my favorite shampoo ! one thing I've noticed with Shea Moisture products is that they're long lasting.. & this Shampoo the same ! Its worth every penny. When I use this shampoo on my color treated hair, its super moisturizing, I feel like I don't need a conditioner to follow up with.

I love the smell from this line, but the only product that actually worked for me in this line is SheaMoisture's Coconut & Hibiscus Mist. This shampoo smells really good, and that's about it. It didn't really do anything for my hair besides cleanse it. My hair didn't feel dry, but it didn't feel moisturized, either. It was just... regular. I would not buy this again.

This did nothing for my hair! My hair still felt the same way after I washed it! While washing i had to use alot of the product, too. And my hair was nappy afterwards! I wanted to love this but it is not worth the ten dollars, Giovanni is the best shampoo for my hair, I think so far. I will use the rest of the bottle though.

This is by far the best shampoo I've ever used. I don't even have to detangle my hair after I wash it because it detangles while I'm washing my hair and it is very moisturizing. Plus it has all natural ingredients. I would definitely recommend this.

I love this shampoo!!! Great lather, great price, great results!!! When I get out of the shower, I have some curls!!! My friend recommended this line when I BC in November 2010. I use this in conjunction with the smoothie and I am stuck! This is a part of my HG!!!!

Hi Curlies, First, I must say, I am a die hard fan of Shea Moisture. I love the Coconut & Hibiscus line. This is my ultimate fav Shampoo. When I tell you this stuff lasts--because you only need a little bit to build up lather (. I go through the Conditioner weekly (as use it as a leave as well) but the shampoo lasts me months (I shampoo twice a week max). It even detangles as you're shampooing. It never strips my hair. I follow with the Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner, then some Style Milk or Curl Enhancing Smoothie. -Samii

I love SheaMoisture products, but I thought this shampoo was just okay. I didn't see any difference in my curls, and by the end of the day my roots looked a bit greasy. Perhaps this product would work better with thicker, drier hair, but for my 2b/3a/3b hair, it was just too much. Won't repurchase.

I was surprised I liked this product. I almost didn't buy it because shampoos tend to dry out and tangle my hair. My hair was slightly dry but nothing a follow with conditioner couldn't handle. Gave it a 4 cuz it's not as good as a cowash.

This shampoo/cleanser is amazing! Left my 3b curls soft, supple and manageable. I could actually detangle my hair with this product alone which is something I have NEVER been able to do with other shampoos. Wonderful product! I highly recommend it!
