I was skeptical of this product but that soon turned to love. It acts as a hair revival for a mid-day perk up and second day hair. It adds a great shine and it does not give me a greasy or "wet" look to my hair at all and I am coconut oil sensitive. The smell is lovely and it's just an all around great product for me.

It does what it claims. This works great as a finishing product, but I use it right after I put all my products in on wet hair and then I use the "break the cast" method. It works like a charm and I kind of think of it as my cg serum. I may or may not repurchase it but that's just because I'm obsessed with trying all of sm's products.

I like this spray for mid-day touch ups to add a little hold and volume. I flip my head upside down and spray, and don't scrunch- just let it do its thing. I love the smell! If I use too much, it feels a little oily/ producty. But if I use the right amount, it's good (for a spray)! I have many spray refreshers, and this is my fave. Sprays aren't the best on my hair, though, in general I prefer to smooth on some cream, FSG, or mousse to refresh.

This isn't the worst product, but it isn't the best. I tried this product as a refresher for my twist-outs and it does an ok job keeping my hair decent-looking between washes. I have, however, started to use this after I wash my hair and my hair was noticeably smoother.

Okay, I can't say that this really provides much hold. I usually spray this on my twist-outs, roller sets and braid-outs in the morning to give it some extra moisture and shine. It's great for the shine/gloss and to add a bit of moisture to the hair, but I wouldn't say it gives any hold. Also, it's not to take the place of a moisturizer - I need to have already moisturized my hair well before I styled it, and this is just to lock in/refresh that moisture for a day or two.

I use this daily! Leaves my hair with a good amount of moisture and holds it in place without being stiff

I love this product. Not crazy about it though. It works very well during those rainy or frizzy days. I carry it with me while on the go. Spray it on my hair when needed. I love how it moisturize my hair and get rid of frizz. Just what I need.

Bought this spray today. Just sprayed my fro, and immediately i was able to run my pic through my tight curls. I was truly amazed at how fast my hair softened up. I plan to use this spray twice daily, and more frequently when i do twists and knots. I also use the deep penetrating cond. as my cowash. LOVE this line of products.

Can't really say too much about the moisturizing or shine part... but I love this as a hair perfume after weekly washes!!

I use this in two ways: the night before I wash/cowash as a pre-poo treatment, and as a detangler right before I wash my hair. Yes, I go against the CG gospel on this issue - my hair is impossible to comb through in the shower even when coated with conditioner unless I precomb/detangle beforehand, so this product is the way to go for me. Before doing CG, I used the Johnson's and Johnson's No More Tangles detangler, a HG since childhood, but as it contains dimethicone, I had to stop using it when I eliminated silicones. SM moisture mist does nearly as good a job, smells awesome, and contains great ingredients (my hair LOVES coconut oil). I have repurchased plan to continue doing so.

On my hair it's pretty decent but on my daughter's it's amazing! Even when her hair is in a ponytail I spray it and it keeps her hair shiny and holds well.

i am convinced that this is hair crack..once you spray it on your hair u have to continuously use it daily because the effects dont last..but u want to continue using it because the softness and moisture u acheive from this is amazing...you will love how soft it is...great curl refresher for 2nd day hair.....but i have seen my hair shrink sometimes...but i dont mind shrinkage...all great for protective styles...for ladies who rock twists/braids all week and need some moisture(water) and other delicious ingredients

I tested it on my dry scalp one day. My scalp was definitely softened and moisturized. You could probably detangle with it too. and the smell doesn't linger but it does smell good. Although, the softness doesn't last. You would prabably have to refresh daily when using it. The spray mist spreads out at a wide range which is also good too.

This stuff is awesome. It gives shine and hold without crunch. Love it! And the scent is lighter than the rest of the pink line.

Smells great, but added no shine, hold or moisture. Made my hair frizzy and limp. Returned and would not buy again.

Use this w/ the other two styling products (curl enhancing smoothie and curl and style milk) for my wash and goes. I dont need to use gel because i have this and it works just fine for hold and adds a great amount of moisture to my hair. Always gotta have some around for my hair.

This is quite a good product; it works well to refresh curls and add hold and shine. I've found other sprays that work a little better for me (I like Jessicurl Awe Inspiraling a lot), but since this one is glycerin-free, it's nice to have around.

I LOVE love love this spray. It gives me perfect 2nd/3rd day hair, plus it's perfect at any time for added moisture. It kills frizz instantly, and makes my curls pop. It doesn't get hard or build-up, so I carry it with me everywhere. Great price too!

I didnt find this very useful in my hair care regimen. I did,however, use it to spritz a little bit of moisture into my hair before putting a hat on or to revitalize my hair a bit. Not many fantastic results though.

Since using this product made my scalp itch horribly, I had to give it '1' curl. It may have been the algae extract, not sure, but I returned that stuff almost as quick as I bought it, 2 days later!

Sticky product and really did not add any shine. It just smelled good.

Smells very good but did nothing for my hair but made it frizzy and feeling oily. Will probably save it for the winter to refresh two strand twists but for twist outs is a no for me.

This mist is pretty good. I used it as a finishing spray after applying the hair milk and souffle for a twist out. So far so good. My 4b hair is moisturized and hydrated. So impressed with this product line.

I was instantly hooked on this Mist the moment I used it. It's perfect as a refresher, and the smell is really, really GOOD! I traveled for 3 hours on MARTA just to purchase this from Walgreen's! I used it everyday just to freshen my afro before leaving for work. I don't have to add my Curls Whipped Cream to define my curls everyday thanks to SheaMoisture's Mist. A few pumps of this stuff, and the curls in my afro look as fresh as the day when I applied the Whipped Cream in my hair. I'll never relinquish this spray. It's unfortunate it didn't work for everyone else, but it's perfect for my hair!

Finally, second day hair!! Moisturized well, which is a struggle for my low porosity hair, and gave good spring to my wurls. I keep this in my purse as a midday refresher as well. It does dry crunchy for me, but scrunched out well. Nice tropical scent.

Honestly, this didn't really do anything for my hair. It doesn't provide that much hold regardless of whether I tie my hair or not, and does not really help reduce frizz/increase shine. It only helps slightly on my hairline, and that's when I smooth it down with my hands. I would not be buying this again. Get the milk instead.

Product does well keeping my scalp moisturized (I only use this for moisturizing while hair is in yarn braids, kinky twists, etc). I feel that it works better on freshly washed hair because I tried using it the day before my weekly wash day and my scalp was actually more itchy after I sprayed it on. Other than that, I love the smell, I just wish it didn't spray so much with one pump. I moisturize my protective styles twice a day and I nearly ran through an entire bottle in a week. And at $9.99 a bottle, that can get expensive considering I leave my braided protective styles in for 6-8 weeks at a time!

It is mostly coconut oil and water... BUT it's just so hydrating and it smells so good. I don't mind if SheaMoisture mixes the water, coconut oil, and some other good stuff together for me! Lol

After reading a bunch of reviews I was so excited to try this product! I was hoping it would take care of the dry, frizziness my hair is often prone to by afternoon but sadly it made my frizz worse :(. I'm thinking I'm sensitive to protein. On my hair it behaved as if I sprayed it with plain 'ol water which for me is a big NO-NO cuz all I get is a frizz halo. I'm gonna return it to Walgreens and I'll keep searching....

Like the product but I won't purchase it again. Essentially it is a bottle of water with some coconut oil in it and a few other ingridents. I can make this myself for a few cents so I won't buy it again.

I have Sisterlocks and this products leaves my hair super soft and perfectly moisturized.

Hi Curlies, First off, I have to say, this was the first product from Shea Moisture that I fell in love with. I actually sampled it in Target before I purchased it (bad me). My first reaction was, "this sh*^%* don't do nothing", (my hair looks the same as if I just spritzed water in it.)-remember, this was in the store. However, I've learned that you can't immediately judge a product before allowing it to prove itself (by giving it time to settle in a 'meet' your hair-lol). So, I did just that, and as my hair began to absorb this spray and dry, my curls became shinier, soft, moisturized and my frizz was seriously diminished. I mean, after using it, I could actually rub my curls back on my head without it frizzing up or feeling stiff. This was actually the first time that I realized my curls CAN in fact dry soft, flexible and free, as opposed to super tight, crunchy and stiff. It was then that I was content with my frizz and preferred soft flexible frizzy curls over frizzless tight crunchy curls. I heart you Shea Moisture.... -Samii ;-)

This product is a lifesaver! It takes away the frizz that sticks out and gives a nice shine to my curls!

As with all the products in this line, I love it. I had lost a lot of hair last year due to some mediccation so I more than normal amount of shorter crown hairs that always frizz out. I can pray them with this smooth them with my hand, and viola! frizz free. Also good for adding moisture when my porous hair needs it (which is all the time). Also good for spraying on after hair is dry before scrunching out the crunch, wait a minute or two for it to dry then scrunch and it helps keep definition.

I wish this spray didn't make my hair dry! It smells really nice and I really wanted to like it. I'm pretty sure it was the protein in it.

This product felt good after initially applying it but my hair would feel crispy/dry later in the day. Did provide excellent shine and a bit of hold however if your hair is sensitive to coconut oils and/or silk protein this may not be the product for you.

I LOVE this product as as well as the rest of the coconut and hibiscus line. I use this spray daily as a refresher. It keeps my hair soft and moisturized.

Really disappointed in this product line! Returned this & Curl Smoothie because they increased my frizz rather than combat it. My search for the ideal product line for my 3b, thick coarse hair continues...

This product smells heavenly but more than two sprays and my hair becomes an oily greasy mess. I use one pump as a hair perfurme. Should last me a long time.

This is a nice moisturizing spray that does give a good amount of shine. It smells great and does what it says it will do. Also, it won't break the bank. Very good product.
