I have easily tangled hair. It's long, fine, dense, med to course.. This product worked better for me than curl keeper because it went on like a leave-in conditioner and did not cause tangles. The hold was also similar to a leave in. Not what I was expecting but a useful tool in the daily routine. I also used very little product in comparison to the curl keeper, which maybe why the hold was light. By the end of the day my hair look good.

I used the product on my daughter's 4a natural hair and it did define her curl and reduced her shrinkage. It in no way extended her curl pattern to the point that she could wear her hair out. I realized that her curls don't clump together so I finger manipulated her hair by swirling pieces around my finger and she ended up with a section of 'shirley temple"curls. It dried the exact same way with no frizz or hardness. That I like about the product. We'll have to see how it fairs a couple of days from now, but so far so good.

Pretty disappointed with this product. I have long 3c curly hair that is fine and frizzes. All my life I've been looking for a product that eliminates frizz and elongates my curls. This wasn't it- it smelled bad, made my hair greasy, and caused shrinkage. No for me!

Just finished the first bottle of Extenzz. For my hair, the product does what it claims without the brush and comb. I've discovered that my hair responds better without them. A little goes a long way since it is oily. When my hair was dry, it was touchable, not sticky, not oily, no flakes, shiny, and soft. I prefer keeping my hair in twists, so I noticed that my twists were elongated after they were dry. They looked like third or fourth day hair (stretched) and stayed that way until the next cowash/shampoo. I've tried it with a leave-in, but noticed that placing Extenzz on top of the leave-in made my hair greasy, so I just used a detangler, then the Extenzz. It was just right. My hair also withstood the high humidity and rain: it stayed elongated. I don't mind shrinkage, but was surprised that I didn't have shrinkage. I have used pure silicone (dimethicone) and still had shrinkage. Repurchase: Yes. A little goes a long way, and I like that because it means that the product will last a while.

I have 4a/b hair. This product was good for defining my curl pattern and held my curls for 6 days but there was major shrinkage. After the 4th day my hair was really dry even after moisturizing it. I saw better results with KCC. I don't think this product is made for 4 type hair. I will not buy again but will use it for the weeks I know I won't have time to wash my hair within 4-5 days.

Sorry, but I had soooo much expectation from this product and it failed for me. Did not extend my very fine curls. It made it more frizzy. The non-chemical curl styling relaxer....ummmm did not work at all. I will not recommend this product.

It detangled my hair and gave it some slip... But it did not extend anything about my curls. Eh, not something I will keep around.

First, I have A LOT of hair! Most products don't really work for me. The one's that do, don't do so for long. The first day then every day after that it gets bigger and fluffier/poofier/frizzier. So far so good. I applied yesterday, section by section, separating the curls that wanted to clump together. Those clumps are still together and there is no poof yet. Add to that, I still have length. I like it.

I'm very satisfied with this product. It defines my type 4B curls and decreases some frizz. Depending on the weather I'll either use Extenzz or Curl Keeper. They are the main styling products that I use and work consistently. Remember to rake the product through your hands with your fingers.

I also found that this product did not extend my hair at all. It left a white film that flaked A LOT. I would not recommend this product.

This was amazing for giving me clumpy, low frizz, soft, natural-loking (rather than crunchy or wet-shiny). Hair felt soft to the touch and a little coated. The coated sensation didn't increase frizz though--a unique situation.

It did not work for my curls. I think it's better for thicker and tighter curls.

I had high hopes when I purchased this product. Extenzz failed miserably ! 3c-4a ringlets that I have had to be SOAKING wet when I applied the stuff. It's super watery, so half of it is wasted during application. My hair usually has no problem clumping on it's own, but this product did nothing for it ! No clumping, no curls ! It took forever to dry, plus my hair was white cause of this product. So.. not only did i look crazy cause my hair resembled Fredrick Douglass, but it was white !! The only nice part about this the smell, which is like soap. Save your money ! Your better off giving it to the boy scouts for some caramel popcorn !

I have mixed reviews about this product. I have a combination of type 3c and 4 hair. The product did not relax my curls but it did help define and eliminate frizz. Frizz is my biggest problem. The scent is not overpowering but slightly greasy on your hands after applying the product but it rinses clean. I spent most of the weekend outside and the product held down the frizz on the low side of satisfactory. I wanted to try this product when it was introduced but did not want to purchase an entire bottle. I suggest this product with reservations.

I tried this product 3 times and just couldn't get any of my coils/curls to clump. I didn't like the way it made my hair feel. It felt like wire, it was really wierd. I won't recommend it to anyone. I was very disappointed after seeing their videos, but maybe you need to have a really loose 4a type hair, which is really what a 3b-c? Doe

Sorry to say but I was disappointed with Extenzz. My fine 3c curls are very tight and corkscrewy and I was hoping this product would combat the shrinkage I constantly battle and maybe give me a little more length but it didn't. I found my curls to be very inconsistent when they dried as well as a lot more frizzy and not at all defined...I'm thinking it's because I brushed them out like it showed on the CHS vid and I really don't think my curls liked that. I might try it with some Curl Keeper next time but I am not happy with my hair's results.
