i like the thickness but does not do much for my hair does reduce frizz

Although it stops frizz it's very heavy and doesn't really dry at all. overwhelming smell!

I didn't like it. Idk if my hair drank it up or if it evaporated, but I didn't find it thick or lasting at all. I didn't get more than two days out of it

nice! i like the fragrance and it left my curls looking and feeling soft and shiny.

The stuff really works and doesn't weigh down the hair. BUT.....the fragrance in the product is overwhelming! There are many people who are allergic to scents. For me, while this product gives amazing curl to my 2C wavy hair, the overpowering scent makes my head itch very badly. Why not make an unscented version of this product? I'll bet you'd get a lot of takers!

I recently had the opportunity to try the Twisted Sista line when I won the 29 Days of Celebrity Curls hosted by Natually Curly. After I saw that Curl Activator was a creme my excitement about the product diminished. I did give it a fair chance after reading some positive reviews I thought that maybe I had found a product that could give me the same results a gel but better. This product did nothing for my hair. Personally I could not recommend the product but everybody's hair is different it may work for someone else but for me it is a no go.

I really liked this product! I just wish the container was bigger. It smells a bit like watermelon candy and it can be a bit overwhelming to begin with, but it fades over time. I noticed that not only did it minimize frizz, but it seems to me that it actually minimized shrinkage, which is probably my favorite part about it! If you are sensitive to perfumes (as my hubby is), make sure to smell the products in this line first (if you can) or at least use in a well ventilated area. It's not a bad fragrance, just very strong.

This product I have to say is not the best.It left my curls very saggy as if I put a lot of product into my hair.As it says on the back for the directions/description it doesn't do what it says.However,the product smells good

I LOVE this product. It did wonders for my hair. It defined my stubborn frizzy sections of my hair and left them soft and smelling great.

This stuff did give me great definition and reduce frizz big time. I was very shocked about that. I will probably save it for the summer time because my Shea moisture frizz my hair bad in the summer. Only giving this product three stars because of it's ingredients. Not really a fan of silicones and mineral oil.

This product was pretty good. It helped define my curls, and it reduced frizz. The product is very thick and creamy so I didn't need to use too much of it. I didn't like the smell of the product. I think that would be my main issue with it. My hair is 3C/4A... It had a better effect on the looser curls than it did on the kinkier parts of my hair. It was a little greasy so I wou;dn't recommend using it more than 3 or 3 days in a row without washing/co-washing/rinsing your hair as you might end up with build up. Oh and I forgot to mention there's absolutely NO frizz which makes my morning routine a 2 step process. I would recommend that you at least give it a try to see how it works on your hair.

I bought this product sometime last year as i was transitioning but didn't like the results so I shelved it. I rediscovered it yesterday and decided to try it again because this time I was growing out my BC and I was beyond pleasantly surprised. Yes I have to admit this isn't a true CG product but aside from that it gives great results. It gives great curl definition and shine and on top of that my hair is super soft with my curls feeling light to the touch. I love it but the key here for me is to use Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie underneath as a leave. I even got 2nd day hair using this so I would totally recommend it.

Product was ok for some decent curls, but again, it is not CG.

I don't like it. Maybe it is not good for 4a-4b teeny, weeny afros because it makes mine look frizzy. The price is good though.

Love it.

This is a great refresher and helps reduce frizz for my second day hair. It's lightweight and not greasy at all. It also smells nice and is a great price!
