By far, this is the WORST gel I have ever tried! And I have tried countless gels. I've never had a gel dry out my hair to the point of no return like this one did. It took several shampoos, an ACV rinse, overnight protein treatment, and finally a moisturizing deep condition with olive oil to get my hair back to its normal state.

I absolutely love this product. I would say this is one of the weaker gels I have used. But because it is weaker it gives my curls more bounce and shine instead of being stuck in one place by other gels. I have been using this for close to six months. I am probably gonna switch to something else to give my hair a break. But I would recommend this to all girls with curls or waves!! By the way... I have extremely curly hair so the results may differ in someone with waves.

Great for reviving curls the next day. Gives control, shapes curls and gets rid of frizz/fly aways. I use it both when hair is wet and dry.

I got over the initial smell but once I put the product in my hair it weighed it down with no discernible definition. Halfway through the day my curls were hard and crunchy. The only thing I could use it for it to slick my hair back into a ponytail or bun. I wouldn't purchase this again.

I mean, It came in a cute bottle. I like cute bottles, but what was inside the bottle was...interesting. I didn't really like the smell, but I could deal with that, if the product actually DID anything. I put it in my hair and it weighed it down like nothing I had ever seen before. The one good thing about it is it did not flake, which I thought was bit strange, but hey. All in all, not that great, I'm sticking with my ecostyler for definition (:

I have 3b type hair. This stuff was horrible! No hold at all - left my hair a frizzy mess. Very drying. I used it the same way I use other gels - with the Quidad rake and shake method in sections and then a pomade. It's not a product I'll buy again and I don't recommend it.

Clear gel, with a watery consistency. The products consistency wont hold, or give weight to resistant coils and kinks. Not a practical gel for thick afro textures. Don't recommend for fro-tastic hair :o) ~keep it real

Use it daily until I find a better product - don't find it drying at all, and my stylist actually commented that she liked the product when she saw and felt my hair after styling. Excellent for the price, doesn't flake, and can be used in the same way the Deva AnGEL is used (diffuse and run hands through to break the "shell").

Very watery and a bit drying...I would only use this to slick my hair back, and definitely would not repurchase.
