I LOVE this curl cream!! I was at the Dollar Store for with my mother this weekend, when my mother saw the aisle of black hair care products. I. was so excited to see this organic and CG friendly products that I had to buy it. I used it for a twist out, and let me tell you, my care is so soft and moisturized. When I was retwisted some of the hair this week, I added more of this cream. My care is the so soft today. I am currently rocking a day 3 twistout, and it looks amazing. If they have this at my Dollar store again, I will buy it again. its makes my hair feel better than the SheaMoisture coconut and hibiscus curl cream, which had been my holy grail.

Drying, crunchy and all around terrible product at least by my standards. I'm a reforming PJ so this was one of my first line of products to try:(

This product did not work great for me as a Wash&Go, It didn't really define my coils or give any hold BUT my hair typically doesn't like cream stylers however I do think this will work great for a twist out styler.

My initial use of this product was as a twist out ... I was not impressed. However, as I refuse to continue to buy and toss (can not afford to waste) I tried this on top of Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Souffle... It elongated and moisturized my curls. I initially tried the Curling souffle with a gel, and did not have the same stretch and moisture I found combining it with the SoftSheen Carsons Mango oil & cupuacu butter feather whipped curl cream. I didn't need to add moisture the next day, but did so anyway... its the end of day 2 and my hair still feels moisturized... I did add Ecostyler gel to hair ends and edges and the middle part to flatten. I always sandwich oil before and after the styling gels so I ended with Carol's Daughter Khoret Amen oil (in reality I've refilled it with EVOO) ... I will use this product again and make the decision to repurchase based on the next style trial... as you know this Natural curly hair sometimes has a mind of its own and though from this 2nd TRY I'd say... YES... I'll need to use it up to make a repurchase decision. Thanks to all the bloggers and reviewers who have encouraged me to try and try again. Looking forward to hearing your responses/reviews.Peace & Blessings ~

I love this. The smell is amazing!!! And the cream definitely moisturizes and very little goes a long way when applied to damp or dry hair. Goes great underneath my Eco styler gel

This product is absolutely the best! Curl definition out of this world! The key is to use the right amount of product (very little) and a lot of water and work into your hair! I am a product junkie for sure and have tried everything under the sun! I have KCCC and it's the absolute worse to ickiness of the gel gets under my skin. I love love love the knot today but it's not user friendly with other products. The shampoo feels as if someone is pulling my hair! But roots of nature is the absolute best I actually mixed it with some of my eco styler olive oil and my hair is fabulous! Curl definition 5, smell 5, it is the best on my 4A hair it looks like i have 3C hair and it's the best out of them all as their advertisement says 24 hours hold the best!~

I love this product. I have 3c hair and it doesn't make my hair hard. This product gives my hair the right amount moisture that is needed. It doesn't leave any type of residue behind. The product also defines my curls and doesn't make my curls do a lot of shrinkage. I just wish they had larger jar of it.

This product does define curls. The directions kind of remind me of KCCC though I haven't used it yet. I purchased this product as a sub for KCCC. The cream has more of a sticky consistency. When I applied it to my hair it had this filmy feeling on the hair and hands and it stayed on my hands. I had to literally wash my hands with soap and water to get it off, BUT it did not do the same to my hair once it dried. It did in fact leave my hair moisturized and not feeling weighed down; there is movement, shake-age if you will. The stickiness and rubbery film left on the hands is why the product received 3 curls.
