This was a fail and I couldn't finish the jar. My twists outs were dry and it left my wash and gos awkward looking. It was as if some parts of my hair almost worked well with the product and it didn't for others. My kinky coily-curly hair was confused. I had the disheveled unkempt look and not in a boho-chi way.

Another failed product on me. My hair is botticelli type curls, a mix of 3a and 3b. This product did not define at all, rather left it frizzy. It takes all day to air dry - another downside. The consistency is more lotion than cream. The smell is nice, like pink bubblegum. It would probably be better for very thick kinky hair than delicate curly hair.

Nice hold, great ingredients

I found this product at Whole Foods after a friend of mine recommended it for my hair. I used it first as a twist out on wet hair and then as a braid out on 2nd day hair. I like the latter method the best. BC has a pleasant fragrance that's not too heavy nor greasy. I wish the consistency was a little thicker for my thick curly tresses but I must say it did the job. My style remained all day w/ a pleasant shine. I will use this product again and I think it may replace another curly cream I was using.

My hair is mostly 4A or C and I LOVE this product!!! It's been a year and 4 months since my last relaxer and 5 months since I've cut off all the relaxed ends... Since going all natural I used whole Kinky Curly (KK) line of products religiously and thought the KKCC was my hair's soul mate until.... one day I decided to try this product out after being curious about it in Whole Foods. My hair LOVES the beautiful curls line! I get much more hold and shine than the KKCC and my set lasts much longer than when I used KKKC. My regimen is to wash 1-2 times a week depending on when my hair frizzes up and I spritz it with water each morning to 'revive' my curls. with KKCC by day 3 it begins to look really frizzy and I have to re-twirl parts of my hair or wash it and start over again. With beautiful curls I can spritz my hair each morning and go to work with minimal touch ups. It's saved me tons of time and energy and this product is really affordable. Plus, a little goes a long way so I need a lot less of this product to get the desired look. I also used a "Denman" like brush to distribute the product evenly and help my curls clump nicely. Note: I even tried going back to my KK regimen to see if my new love with beautiful curls was just a disillusioned infraction but that solidified my love for BBcurls even more. The difference was noticeable and now I'm giving up my KK products.

I really like this product for twisting. It gives my hair a soft shiny hold. This product really defines my curls.

Meh. I have 3c, fine hair and this might work for someone who has thicker, looser curled hair. I have tried applying this product on sopping wet, wet, damp and dry hair. It all resulted in pretty well defined, slightly stretched BUT crispy/chrunchy hair. My hair, once air dried, did not feel moisturized, soft or flexible. I'd have gotten the same results with a jar of gel.

I have 2b hair but my little sister, who has 3b hair, loves this product. It leaves her curls very defined, and frizz free, and we've found it works especially well with plopping. It smells great, but it only really works for girls with really curly hair. My hair is only wavy and it weighs it down, so I use the Curl Enhancing Gel. I love this whole line of products, and it has a wonderful cause.

I had a sample of this that I got at Whole Foods and even though my hair is fine to medium the girl at the store recommended this and said she used it. I may have used too much because it left my 2b-3a curls producty, wavy, thick feeling and frizzy. Might be good for someone with corse, thick hair because it feels like lotion and felt like a lotion on my strands even after my hair dried. Smells good though, like vanilla and shea butter!
