I'm not usually a mousse fan, I find it can give me crunchy curls, but this mousse is really gives me defined soft curls without the crunch.

I have to say that I was surprised by this product! I have never even considered giving mousse the time of day. Out of all products that I have tired that have considered themselves mousse I have generally hated. With that said I actually really liked this product. I have used other brands of mousse before and found them to be heavy and crunchy, which is something I am not a fan of. This mousse is wonderful! It is light and it doesn't give my hair that annoying feeling that my hair could brake off at any minute because it is so caked on. It lightly holds my wave in place. I used this product after getting out of the shower and allowed my hair to air dry. I have yet to diffuse my hair with this product, but I can only imagine an even better result.

Let me start by saying that I'm really not a mousse girl, but I really do like this one. I think because oil is one of my favorite things to cocktail with and this contains oil, it has the ingredient I need to make it work right for my wavy hair. It is light, doesn't make my hair crunchy, but gives a nice hold throughout the day.

I've never found a mousse that likes my hair, and this mousse is the type that caused me to avoid any mousse since High School. After using this, the end result on my hair is not a curly style, its a replica of the top coat of an ungroomed Pomeranian. Instead of spirals, it looks like I hairbrushed my hair, completely dry, after getting a 1980s Big Hair Perm. (Anyone here remember Boy George?) This mousse has excellent ingredients, and the lack of 'cones, glycerin, etc. is usually a real positive for me. I don't know what ingredient/combo of ingredients causes my hair to fluff and frizz (I wish I did!), but I know that this is not a reaction unique to Moroccanoil Mousse. If you regularly use mousse with success, this is a great option, because it doesn't have 'cones, glycerin, etc. To anyone sensitive to fragrances: this is potently perfumed. It smells pretty, but the scent clings to hair, and it's very strong.

I bought this on a whim, best purchase yet! I think I have gone through the gauntlet of curl products too. It really helps my curls form, with bounce and light to medium hold. Also really helped me with frizz in the seriously humid conditions of my home town. The hold is not crazy strong mid-way through the day, but if I wet my hands and scrunch my hair, it reactivates perfectly. The good thing about the lack of serious hold is that it doesn't get sticky or crunchy, and my hair doesn't get a lot of build up after a few days of not shampooing. To really get it to hold (like going out for a day long event that needs hold) I spritzed my hair with hair spray (upside down and on top) and it held perfectly. I pair it with a touch of leave in conditioner on my ends and get great shine. I do use quite a bit of it though.

Good product but not really cone free :( "Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein PG-Propyl Silanetriol is a siloxane polymer." http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ingredient.php?ingred06=719730

I love this mousse, but also notice it does not provide a lot of hold. It smells amazing, and I get more compliments on how I smell than my actual hair, but I'll take it!

This is my first Moroccanoil product, and I LOVE it! Pros: -Mousse goes a long way, so I can almost justify the price tag (I found it for $32 at a salon) -Incredible curl definition: I even get ringlets on the back of my head, which is usually too heavy to get great definition. -Smells great! -Pretty good frizz control, though I think I need to find something else to pair it with in order to get totally humidity-busting control. I might look into the Moroccanoil oil itself. Cons: -As mentioned above, I feel like I need to pair it with something else to get good frizz control. Haven't found out what this is yet. -Not great for second-day hair. That is, I can't really sleep on it and expect my hair to be good to go the next day. I think this is due to the heaviness of the product (which is amazing for definition, but leads to bad bed head.)
