I have high porosity hair naturally, so I was excited to see such an affordable sulfate-free conditioner that would help keep my hair's thirst slaked. I love the smell of this product and the way it feels in my hair. My only issue with it at the moment is I can't figure out how much to use (When I use too much, it is impossible to rinse out. Too little and it doesn't actually condition my hair). Also, it does contain silicone, but they're water soluble, so it is not a big issue. All in all I am still optimistic about this product and if I can figure out the right amount to use I will but more.
I got this product at HEB grocery store for about $5.99. It is a great product and definitely cleaned my hair, but it didn't have that "Bang Bang" effect that I was looking for since it says it is a moisturizing shampoo. I am not going to rate it low because I think this product is more effective on Type 3 hair..but for my type 4 hair is just does not provide the moisture I was seeking out (I have very very thick hair). I give it 3 curls because it cleaned my hair and it has great ingredients, but I also give it a 3 curl because it could not penetrate my hair to give me moisture! <3 Blessings
I got this conditioner on fire sale at Kroger and after reading all the rave reviews I jumped straight in the shower to try it. I am pleased to say it lived up to my expectations, I went CG a few months ago and had yet to use a CG friendly shampoo and this was a great product to start with. It is pretty liquidy since the first ingredient is water but I liked that since it didn't foam up much which helped my hair feel clean without feeling stripped. It rinsed out cleanly and easily and left my hair feeling a bit dry but clean and ready for a co-wash and some conditioner. I didn't mind that it dried the hair out a bit since I was going to be following with pretty moisturizing conditioners (sauve naturals and nature's gate) but if you are looking for a super moisture rich feel, this is not for you. This is the best my hair has ever felt after a shampoo, definitely a good choice for curlies!
I got this as a free trial from Walgreens and I love it! It doesn't add moisture to my hair that I can tell, but it leaves my hair feeling clean and fairly soft, and certainly not tangled. It's a good cheap low poo for me!
Nice low poo! I cowash but because I use so many products I still have to low poo once every other week. Well I didn't have any low poo on hand and hadn't low pooed for over a month so I desperately needed something and picked this up at CVS. It's a bit strong and I wouldn't use this more than once a month but it cleans really well, smells great, and my hair looks great.
This is my first low-poo, but I really like it. I found it for cheap, $8 at CVS, and got it for half off on sale. It's thick and pearlescent like my old favorite sulfate shampoo, doesn't dry out my hair, revives my waves, and the SMELL. Holy moly does this stuff smell good. I opened the cap a dozen times walking around CVS and still open it to smell it in the bathroom! Lol! I like it.
I just didn't like this shampoo. To me, it smells a bit like nail polish remover and it dried out my hair to the point of it falling out a bit more than usual. It also tangled my hair. I wanted to like it (no sulfates! and I got it on a rebate) but even after using it and then using it again months later my opinion hasn't changed.
This product is wonderful! I bought it a week ago after I ran out of my regular shampoo and it's even better than what I was using. At 6.99 a bottle at my local department store it was well worth my money. Leaves my hair soft and manageable and it's very lightweight. Love it! Highly recommend it!
