I've used this product on and off for several years. I like it as a finishing product to pull my curls all together - it helps with the frizz and makes them a bouncier. I find that it works better with my 3a hair, however, when it is SHORTER than when my hair is longer. I think the product builds up after awhile and that when my hair is longer it just weighs down the curls too much because the product is heavy.

I'm not sure wher they get water-based for this pomade. When I used it on my super-short waves, if I touched my hair too much, I had to start over completely (shampoo and all).

Yuck Yuck Yuck. I have heard people telling how a product made their hair feel like straw, but never experienced it until I tried this. Way too thick, heavy, and drying.

I really liked this irridescent, fresh-smelling pomade/wax. It was especially good for updos and ponytails and kept my hair from frizzing.
