This jelly didn't do much for me- it elongates my curls and makes them look limp; leaves a dull, almost matte looking finish which I don't like. Love the smell though- a mix of vanilla and baby powder. Will not repurchase.

I'm still on the fence aBout this product. It really doesn't do much for my porous 2c/3a normal texture hair. It almost leaves a dull look I'm not sure how to describe. I will continue to experiment, but I don't think "jellies" are for me.

After transitioning for 13 months, I big chopped in early March 2013. I was soooooo excited to see my natural curls in a wash and go, but kept being disappointed by the results I was getting from the stylers I had purchased. I was beginning to think that I had made a mistake giving up the creamy crack! Then I tried the Curly Kinks Coil Jam, and I got excited about my curls! It provides me with the perfect amount of hold and frizz control without drying my hair out. It also makes it shine like crazy! And the smell... amazing! I can get at least 3rd day hair with this product, which I love! I have found my HG styler!

I love this stuff!!! I have been looking for a hair gel to do pony tails, braid/twist outs and anything else I could come up with that required holding down my edges and hair. My twist out came out perfect with this gel. It does not flake at all and the gel gives the style a beautiful hold. Love it. Will be re-purchasing.

This is is kind of like KCCC. Kind of. While it doesn't promote clumping as well as KCCC, it most definitely drys faster. I find that it clumps better when scrunched into soaking wet hair, something I can't do with KCCC, because of the absurdly long drying times. It provides much better hold than DC Light defining gel, and yet I do not need to scrunch out the crunch! It also has a light pleasant scent, which is a plus for people with sensitive noses. The best part? If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to KCCC, I say give this a try!

Coil Jam is the best styler I've tried in my nearly 3 years of being natural. I use it for wash & go's, finger coils, roller sets, twists, braids, ponytails and buns and get BOMB result each and every time. I've NEVER had a bad hair day using that product. I am a frugal natural and like to purchase ALL of my products on the ground. Coil Jam is the ONLY item I purchase online and pay shipping for without issue. The good thing that I've discovered is that I can find it locally here in Atlanta if I run low which I try not to. I prefer to buy directly from Monique because she has great sales and ALWAYS puts an extra little something in your shipment whether it be a sample product or a discount code or scratch off card. I cannot say enough good things about this gel. Never sticky, never crunchy. I can honestly say this is one of the best gels out there. It is a HG for me!

I love it when a product performs according to its description! And I like the fact that I don't have to use a lot to cover my hair. The product spreads easily and provides good "slip" as well as curl definition. This product is a must for those who like WNG's and need "weight", yet have body to their hair.

Really beginning to love the coil jam! It glides on easily, love the ingredients. Leaves the hair completely frizz free and a very little goes a long way! Was able to get rid of the crunch with a little oil. My only issues is that it can leave a dull finish, but once you smooth in a little oil that problem is solved

I did like the product alot. It definitely prevents frizz and didn't dry my hair out.

Good stuff this Coil Jam! I like it by itself when looking for some hold after a fresh twist out. BUT when I use it with the Satin Roots... MAN! It's is really nice. Love these products.
