3B/3C For "sulfate-free", it still forms lather. This was drying on my hair. Absolutely no moisturizing qualities about it. The deep conditioner afterward helped, but in general the Mixed Chicks line is below-average to average. Price does not justify the results. Disappointing.
I like this shampoo and did not find it to be very drying to my hair at all. It got my hair nice and clean. Overall, I really have nothing bad to say about this shampoo at all.
This shampoo dried my hair so much that it felt like straw and I shampoo my hair once a week or ever two weeks. My curls had no life and tangled together. I would not recommend this to anyone.
I was so eager to try this stuff. Unfortunately, it dried out my transitioning 3c/4a hair. I won't be buying this one ever again.
I was excited to find a line of products designed for bi/multi-racial hair. My Asian/Caucasian 3a curls are dry and over time this shampoo made it worse. The intense conditioner isn't enough to replenish the moisture. I only shampoo a couple of times a week and apply lots of moisture but to no avail. I much prefer the Carol's Daughter Minoi no sulphate shampoo. I lose very little hair in comparison to other shampoos. The Minoi conditioner works well too. But it's pricey. I'd love suggestions for something similar at a less expensive price point.
I liked this shampoo. Nice, rich lather. Cleansing. Pleasant scent. My hair did not feel stripped but it wasn't moisturized either. I liked it but I prefer something more gentle.
Surprisingly foamy for a sulfate-free shampoo. My hair did feel stripped but I don't mind that because it signals a lack of slick-inducing chemicals. And since I follow with conditioner, I'll get my softness there.
