I have bought this product twice. The second time was by accident... forgot I hated it the first time. I noticed nothing except making my hair a little limp and fizzier than using nothing. So instead of curly hair with frizz I had limp hair with frizz.

This worked alright, nothing to write home about. It made my frizzy hair calm and shiny and have a slight wave to it(though it never got completely straight). Smell was a little strong for me - I have allergies and most scented hair products bother my sinuses. Product feel a little heavy in the you had a coat of greasy lotion on it (though your hair doesnt look it).

I reviewed this before, but that was a while ago when I didn't know much about my hair and the only products I had tried were awful. I tried rusk str8 again, and it was worse than putting nothing in my hair. Ick. One curl for this one.

2c) I don't straighten my hair as often as I used to, but this product did a decent job. It's easy to use too much though, and end up with sticky, plastic-feeling hair. I would give it 2.5 curls.

I have really thick crazy hair. I use Rusk Str8 as a styling product- just scrunch it on like I would any other curly hair product. It produces nice, defined curls that aren't sticky or crunchy. I didn't really see that it loosened my hair any. I thought I was so weird using a straight-hair product on curly hair like a product meant for curly hair, but I guess other people have used it as well. I've never straightened with it, either. This is actually better than most other products I've tried, including Rusk Wired.

I liked this one, especially mixed with gel. It really loosens the curl. And I've heard it can really help straighten hair for people who want to do that.

Many of our readers have recommended this. My guess is that is works well for straightening, which I don't do. As a curl-enchancer or -definer, it didn't work. So if you straighten your hair on occasion, you might want to try this one.

Recommend this entire line. Cut frizz and produced loser curls. It smells like musk, a little manly.
