I have 3a/b curls that hate low dew points. Medium/low porosity, medium/thick density. I am not a mousse-user, and I've tried only 1 or 2 mousses in the last 30 or so years. My hair hated them, because they seemed to add frizz and take away definition. A former stylist used all KMS products on me, and at some point I don't recall I purchased a bottle of "Wave Foam", and forgot about it. After going CG last August I never even thought about mousse, until a recent discussion at Naturallycurly. I was happy to retrieve my bottle from a dark, dusty PJ Corner. Turns out, I like it! However, Wave Foam is not a typical mousse, at all. It's a creamy gel that foams just a teensy bit, and it feels more like a curl cream than the popping, expansive, foaming, sticky stuff that's usually mousse. If you've ever used Gold Bond Ribbons body lotion, in the tin pump bottle, this feels similar to that lotion. Wave Foam elongates my curls, but gives me good definition. It doesn't help all my frizz, but in conjunction with my usual curl cream and refresher spray this gives me a nice, soft look. This will be a great product to use when I want to show off my long my hair actually is, because my everyday curls are a just below jawline shag. Wave Foam us silky and feel elegant. It makes me feel like I'm using a high quality luxurious product, making my hair look pretty, making me feel good. I highly recommend giving this a try even if you;re not a mousse fan either. This is a unique product that does wonderful things for hair.

I REALLY did not like this - even though I really wanted to!!! Dried my hair out something fierce - might be something that works a little better in summer, though.

Foam has a cream like texture but really light weight. I really love using this as an every day styler and it really give my curls some bounce. it work great with the sea salt spray as well.

Definitely prefer this to the creme from the same collection. It gave me beach wave look, really liked it.
