This is the best smoothing conditioner that I have EVER used on my daughter's relaxed hair. Usually we stretch her relaxer out for quite awhile. This time we stretched it to 5 months. She had about 2 or 3 inches that have grown out. The best thing about the Chocolat shampoo and conditioner is that they are both sulfate free. There is some sudsing action but it's not the same detergent that is found in dish soap, hand soap or body wash. It does contain a gentle sulfate. The conditioner went on nicely and combed through fairly well. I would definitely buy this again when we use it all!

This is not a product I would've purchased on my own as I am done straightening and smoothing my hair. I won the set in one of NC's giveaways and I'm always willing to try anything. This conditioner is very rich and I was initially afraid that it would weigh down my fine hair. It didn't weigh it down but I didn't get the slip out of it that others have gotten. It's also so thick and rich that getting it out of the bottle was a struggle. While it did leave my hair soft, I probably will not purchase.

Has good moisture and a great smell! Helps with the smoothing of my hair before the straightening process.

This conditioner has a significant amount of slip and it did make my hair very soft. It's not Kinky Curly Knot Today Slip but it's good slip nonetheless. I really enjoyed the sent. It's floral like and very pleasant. I used it with the shampoo and blow dry cream. Together they are all really good when it comes to straightening curly hair.
