This is the first conditioner I got after deciding to go natural. It smells wonderful, and is very moisturizing. It is a little bit hard to squeeze it from the bottle because it is a bit thick and a teeny bit grainy, but it does what it claims to do. It slides effortlessly onto hair, and gives an insane amount of slip. When my hair dried after using it, it was the softest it had ever been, and it smelled SO good. I would definitely buy it again, only I'm using another Organix conditioner now (Argan Oil & Shea Butter) which I really love. Definitely try this, because it's truly worth it.
This conditioner is okay. It does not feel that great on the hair, and has virtually no slip. Looking at the ingredients, they are not as natural as the brand claims, which is a major downfall. I would repurchase on sale.
This was the first Organix product I ever used. I like it but Im sure there are better conditioners for me. This was an average product. If it were to be on sale for a cheaper price I would buy it again.
I've been using this for a while now. It's pretty good, and it really helps frizz, but I'm so used to it that next time I run out, I'm gonna buy something else. Any suggestions?
This brand is something I will put in/out of rotation because it is consistent and not too pricey. My issue is the bottle is small so I run out quicker than I would like. I LOVE the smell. It is not super slippery, but it gives me enough slip to detangle. I don't find it to be too heavy, in fact I find it pretty light. I like their conditioners for cowashing. I typically buy this for my hubby, who has 3A-ish hair and doesn't require expensive products and it does a great job keeping his hair shiny and soft in between shampoos.
I love the smell and texture but it weighs down my curls too much. I even mixed it with a lighter conditioner and it still left me with straight roots and stringy ends.
I love Organix products. The coconut is the best. Creamy smells heavenly. I also suggest the shampoo, deep conditioner and the leave in oil. I have yet to try the moroccan I have faith that it too is good. No sulfates so it keeps the frizz down, and yet dosen't weigh my curls/waves down. In fact, it enhances them. My hair looks better when I use this brand. It can be expensive in the drugstores, and the selection can be limited at superstores. I suggest keeping an eye on the sales at the drugstores, Rite Aid and Walgreens has bogo free sales often. Sometimes they have 50% more free bottles on the shelf, making it more cost effective.
Organix Coconut Milk Cond. is just too thick for my hair. I don't hate it; I just won't buy it again. The Organix shampoo for this coconut line is actually better, I think. Also, my hair seems to have begun to despise any sort of glycerin this summer...so this conditioner just ends up having no positive effect. When rinsed out, my hair immediately goes back to dry frizziness and brittle ends.
I gonna assume my hair loved this stuff bc of the coconut. lol. My hair seems to love everything coconut. Oh well. But, the slip was awesome and made my hair easy to detangle. After I rinse it out, my hair was soft and manageable. I love the smell, btw. Def will keep in my rotation.
I was surprised this conditioner was good after trying its horrible shampoo. Its slip is ok, but it leaves my hair very soft and manageable when detangling. And it smells soo GOOD !
2 stars for a great smell. No slip, leaves hair dry, cannot leave in without getting matted. Too bad, nice pricepoint.
One of the best drugstore conditioners I've found. If you love beachy, coconut, tropical scents, you'll love the way this conditioner smells, and it does linger in your hair. (That's a plus for me, but some people might not enjoy that aspect.) I find it has good slip, moisturizers well and leaves my hair soft and shiny, but not weighed down. I also use a few dabs as a leave-in conditioner.
so the minute I bought this conditioner -- I never stopped. I used it during my year transition and I continue to use it now that I'm natural. I use it only for about 5 minutes (it says 3 on the bottle I believe) uncovered when it's warm/hot outside and covered when it's cold outside (or if I feel dry) and it leaves my 4a type hair extra soft. And it smells delicious. It's thick so it's perfect for my thick hair. I probably wouldn't use it if your hair is thin. It's mild enough that I use it about 3 times a week, or basically anytime I wash my hair. It definitely does not make a good co-wash. And the consistency is too thick to create a concoction with it. (I tried to do a spritz type thing) But, if you are looking to use it regular and you have thick hair this is for you. Plus, Walgreens has it on sale about every 8 weeks or so (which is typically when I am running out) so if you're lucky you can get two for the price of one :)
