I have been using this since I went curly girl so its been a few years. After I started using this I was able to go longer periods without getting a hair cut, I go not because my hair is dry but because I like to have volume. I really like this shampoo a lot. I don't plan on switching anytime soon.
I love this shampoo! It's sulfate-free but still foams up into a rich lather, smells heavenly, and cleans my hair thoroughly while not stripping it of moisture.
If you're looking for a good sulfate free shampoo, this is the one! It smells amazing amazing and does what it's supposed to do without causing damage to your hair.
Just used this for the first time followed by the EverCreme conditioner, which I have used for about a year already. I haven't shampooed my hair for over a year, using the Evercreme conditioner as a co-wash, but recently my hair felt like it needed a shampoo, so I tried this. So far, very happy that I did! My hair feels very clean, the smell was great and my curls are well formed, soft and frizz-free. I followed up shampoo and conditioner with my staple: AG-ReCoil curl creme.
I basically do the CG method and usually co-wash with conditioners that have cleansing agents in them. When I want to do a clarifying wash, however, I do a baking soda wash and apple cider vinegar rinse which works really well for my hair. I guess I can't help being a product junkie though, and I like to have a choice of products to rotate, so I went looking for a clarifying shampoo I could use periodically without stripping my hair. I also wanted something that was CG, *plus* I wanted something I could pick up locally and not go broke buying. This L'Oreal shampoo satisfied all of the requirements I had -- I can pick it up at my supermarket, it's not expensive, it's CG, and it clarifies my hair without making it feel stripped. One application of a quarter size amount was all I needed to wash my hair. (Of course, I always use a RO and a light LI, but I would use those anyway no matter what product I washed my hair with.) I also like that the EverCreme line does NOT have an overpowering, perfume-y smell like L'Oreal's EverSleek line of products does. <-- That would have been a deal-breaker for me. I'm perfectly happy to use this product again. (The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is that I reserve 5 stars for products I consider HG.)
