My hair was still frizzy and no curl definition.

I like this line very much.. It took my hair a while to get used to it but its a great product for my 3c hair

Just more useless crap. Yes cheap. No mineral oil. But it left my 4b daughter's hair a gunky knot. Recommended and purchased locally. Had semi-high hopes. Wasted money on the whole line. I don't recommend.

So I'm newly transitioning. I bought the product this past Saturday and it was $6.99 plus tax. The same day I washed, deep conditioned, applied this product; Sunday the results were good. I like the product but then I don't. Here's why: today is Tuesday & I like my curls but I don't like that my hair is greasy. I thought they would've been moisturized instead of greasy. When I put my hands in my hair my hands have a greasy residue on them. Once I'm finished w' this jar I don't think I'll buy anymore.

This is my first natural girl product. I like it, I use it on my 4c twa to make coils and they come out great. I use this with their Moisture Butter at the same time. I paid $650 for it in Jamaica so the price isn't too bad.

Just bought it yesterday and man oh man I love this stuff! This product has tamed all the textures (3c, 4a, 4b) in my hair. I conditioned my hair, than applied the curl control with alil organic lock and twist gel (the lock and twist gel doesn't work well on my hair by itself) set my twistout and came the morning VOILA! My hair is fabulously, bouncy, shiny, and most importable TAMED. I will def try other products by this line.

I used this combined with the Beautiful Textures Moisture Buttercream for a flat twist out and for 2 strand twists - great results!!!! Smell is pleasant but a tad strong for me. Both styles lasted several days without re-twisting. Can't beat the price and you can find on ground.

I really hate this thing. I bought it thinking I can substitute for Black n Sassy Creamy set, the only thing that allows me to wear my curls bouncy, elongated, frizz-free without any next-day regret. This thing is too oily. I have thick hair so I distributed by sections. At the end of the night after watching tv with my bf I left him a "Coming to America soul-glo" stain on his shirt and pants. Very embarrassing. I usually comb my hair dry with no problems but this, made my hair so damn tangled! I've tried it again using less, but this wasn't made for hair like mine. I don't want to throw it away, so I only use it to dampen the side of my head to comb back my hair into an everyday bun. I think it would be perfect for very short curly hair but anyone with low porosity, 3b/c long hair...nuh-uh.

I love this product. I have only used it to do my two strand twist and of course my twist outs. OMGosh does it give my twist all the life. Before using this product I would use gel on top of moisturizer & leave-ins and get lots of flakes and white film. This product is the gel and the moisturizer in one. It gives my kinks great moisture and hold. I can twist my hair with this and an hour later I'd have a fluffy, soft, not to mention great smelling curls. I'm sooo in love. My mom is also natural but never wears her hair, after seeing the results this product gave me she now wants to give it a try. Maybe just my opinion but this is a great product. A little goes a long way, and I am not a the type of person to rave about a so so product, so if you have hair that is some sort of 4 texture, I recommend this to you and btw i'm on twist out day two and my hair is still moist, fluffy, and cute :))) FYI: The first time I did twist with this product I used it alone, and I got good results, the second time which is now, I used it along with the moisture butter from this same line and I got even better results. NOTE TO USER: DO NOT USE A DIFFUSER WITH THIS PRODUCT. I used the defining pudding yesterday and let it air dry as the directions say and it really helped with taming the frizz at my crown (which is where I have a coarse spot). This product was very drying to my 3b curls. It was almost like a gel on my hair made my hair hard. Did not like the smell at all, kind of made me nauseous. I am letting my daughter use the rest of the product on her heat damaged natural hair for twist outs. Again a good price. $6.49 at Sally's.

It's moisturizing but it doesn't really do well for my curls. I have a TWA so maybe it'll help when my hair grows a bit?

I love this stuff because it has great slip and is super moisturizing. My curls are elongated and it actually turns them into fat clumps which I love. Unfortunately the only down side is that when it dries it tends to frizz up a bit but I tend to remedy this by lacing it with a glycerin free gel. I figured that since the moisturizer in the product line is glycerin free that it wouldn’t hurt to slick on glycerin free gel and that assessment was right on the money. You also get a lot of product for your money so it is worth giving a try. I purchased mine in Harlem, NYC for like 5.99 and being that it is so thick I think this will last at least 2 months because a little does go a long way.

Makes my hair soft and it detangles my hair. They also give you a lot of product and you don't need much, so it lasts forever! The smell is beautiful as well.

so far i like this product, though i have only ever used it with the butter creme in this line as well. love the smell and it distributes in my hair easily!

The smell is delicious, though my hubby found it to be a little overbearing. I used it in conjunction with the Shampoo, Deep Conditioner, and Leave In from this line and they ALL work fabulously. The defining pudding left my ringlets perfectly defined, moisturized, and they literally felt protected from humidity induced frizz. They had body and bounce and were not at all sticky, stiff, or crunchy. If I didn't have to contend with my husbands aversion to strong scents, this would definitely get 5 curls!

Wasn't drying, but didn't really act like a styler. It's probably better for braid/twist outs.

Not my favorite product of the entire line. I find the product to be sort of drying and not having the hold that I prefer. (but my answer could be a little biased seeing how I am in love with gel) :)
